Survivor Gabon — It’s almost over
Posted in Reality TV, Television on 12/15/2008 12:22 am by adminIt definitely seems to be dividing opening this season, lots seem to love it while others seem to hate it.
I am still strictly in the hating it camp, although I did enjoy the last episode a lot — there were so many ways that tribal council could have gone and finally it went the way I wanted it to. I’ve been waiting for the tables to turn on Crystal for a long time :p
Sugar imho definitely and absolutely is not a good game player, this episode just highlighted it even more for me — she’s got balls, big big balls, she has not tried to fly under the radar and has been willing to make some pretty bold moves when she’s felt the urge to. But not one of them was the ‘right’ decision or based on strategy…they’ve all been personal or because someone got into her ear and told her to do it. She even said this episode she knew she couldn’t beat Bob but she didn’t care because she liked him
Sugar is the puppet, not the master.
And what’s all this nonsense about the good guys, and listing herself as one of them? Firstly it’s survivor…there’s no such thing as good guys. Secondly she’s known full well how Ken and Crystal are and have been throughout the game and thirdly she’s taken part in just as many manipulations, blindsides and sneaky plans as they have — I hate it when they get all moral and hypocritical about it.
As for the finale…I didn’t realise it was that time already! I am going away for a few days tomorrow so won’t get to see it until the end of the week…hope I can avoid spoilers.
I think Susie is a cert for the final 3, who’s going to try and get rid of Susie? and if Susie, Sugar and Kenny are even remotely decent players they’ll be making darn sure they get rid of Bob and Matty beforehand!
