If you’d asked me a few years ago I would have said that I hadn’t written a letter, or any thing over a few sentences, in several years — not since I was last at school back in 1998 (1998? Dang was that really over 10 years ago? I am getting so old!). I’d write lists, short notes, quick hellos in cards and the like all the time — but that was about it and boy had my handwriting suffered because of that, it was barely legible any more!
Times have changed now though because I have made several really good and close friends online over the last few years and often write to them — not long rambling letters as such because I chat with most of them online on a daily basis, but we are always sending each other little bits and bobs and gifts and we always accompany anything we send with some handwritten words
Now I always have paper on my wishlists, I like to try and use fancy, interesting and unique paper because I think that it adds that little extra bit of specialness to the gesture — what’s better, white paper with blue lines or some neon pink metallic paper? I don’t even need to answer that!

So Strictly Come Dancing finally comes to end.
For 14 weeks I have watched these celebrities dance their little hearts out week after week.
The finale has been on for what already seems like forever, Lisa and Brendan have been voted out and the final two couples have performed their show stopping free style dances.
Tess and Bruce have the results, the finalists are gathered.
Oh the excitement.
So who won?
I don’t bloody know because that was the point my PVR recording stopped — the earlier show overran so the results show was on for an extra 6 minutes meaning that myself and all the other 1000s of people up and down the land that recorded the show to enjoy later missed the result.
Nice work BBC, nice bloomin’ work!

My brother and sister in law moved house on Friday, less than a week before Christmas…who does that? It was a total nightmare of a day to be honest, there was issues with the people who were moving out and the weather was absolutely insane — you’ve never seen rain like it!
Thankfully the process itself was handled in a professional way thanks to them finding a great realtor via the Internet. I don’t know how people coped before the Internet I really don’t — how did people ever find reliable experts?
