Celebrity Big Brother Highlights Only Experience

I have not watched even 1 minutes live feed this year

It’s not like I am even doing it on purpose, or in protest, or trying to make a point — I just haven’t been that interested and frankly I am too lazy to look at what time it starts so I can tune in etc.

I have watched 2 episodes of BBLB and 3 of BBBM.

Again it’s not even like it’s a conscious decision, I just haven’t.

I have not visited the website or watched any clips on it once — but that one is more on purpose.

And I have to say I am enjoying it, it’s actually quite nice to tune into the highlights show at night and have no idea what’s coming up — usually I would know every move every housemate had made in the last 24 hours.

Is anyone else still only watching the highlights? how are you finding that?

Mmmm Chocolate

Here’s what I love, I love chocolate!

OK I know, who doesn’t right? It is like the law that if you are female you have to love chocolate.

I am a good girl though and I don’t eat too much of it these days, I turned into some what of a health freak a few years ago now — started working out, gave up drinking and smoking and gave up really bad foods including my all time favourite, cheese.

However there is one time of the month I just cannot resist the stuff, you know when I am talking about!

So I always tend to have some in the house, often frozen so it doesn’t tempt me the rest of the time, for that time of the month.

I also allowed myself some at Christmas this year. We had a box of quality streets and I had my very own wee bag of the strawberry ones, my all time favourites. I love soft fruity centered chocolate. I really want to try the Dark Chocolate Cordial Cherries available at Gertrude Hawk Chocolates.

I don’t think they ship to the UK though, but I have lots of American friends online and I am sure they would send me some over if I asked nicely…and maybe said they could have one or two of them ;)

Jeff Probst FanGirl Alert!!

I’m such a Jeff Probst fangirl, I got so excited when he kicked off the first challenge then started running to the finishing line during the first episode of Gabon — run Jeff run!! I don’t even know why it amused me so much, I guess I just love him as a host and the way he gets stuck in, what a champ.

That Emmy was totally deserved.

Couldn’t believe the picks that Fang made (it’s not just me is it, they all totally pronounce it as ‘thong’?!) at the beginning, you think to yourself that that’s gonna come back and bite them in the behind…and boy it already did. They deserved to lose the first few challenges and I am glad they did — hope it doesn’t continue that way though, it sure gets boring if one tribe dominates so heavily this early on.

I usually hate that the old person, or the fat person get voted out first just because they are old/fat…but in the case I was very happy old lady went home, I found her majorly annoying. I actually thought they were going to go for Dan or Ken and I was going to be left dumbfounded by their choices for the 47575th time already.

Speaking of Ken (gamer), is he some sort of minor celebrity? A bit like the wrestling woman from last season? I see lots of people on youtube comments and coming to my site etc searching for him and saying they are only watching for him!

Overall, great premiere…great to have Survivor back.

Would you have it done?

I had an interesting conversation with a dear old friend of mine a few weeks ago that I thought I would share with you.

It was about vaginal plastic surgery!

At first I wondered why she had brought it up at all, I thought maybe she was worried about some thing that was going on down there and was using this as a way to bring it up to me. I asked her if this was what was going on and she assured me it wasn’t, it was just a conversation she had gotten into at work a few days earlier.

Fair enough.

Honestly it’s not something I had ever thought about before, why would I? I am only 28 years old and I am yet to have any children so I don’t really feel like it’s something I need at the moment. In the future though, when I have had kids or things are just starting to show signs of aging, well that’s a different matter isn’t it.

She said she’d have it done in a heart beat if her sex life had started to suffer, but also didn’t feel like it was somewhere she needed to go yet.

Conclusion? Well it was an interesting conversation, but we didn’t really go any where with it.

No more dancing on ice for Grahame

Dancing On IceI am get soppy in my old age, I must be. First I was appalled by the mean twist in The Biggest Loser USA premiere and on Sunday night I could have almost cried that Grahame had to go home from Dancing on Ice, all that training for just one night!

Ultimately I was pleased it was him out of him and fellow bottom twoer, Donal, but I didn’t want any one to have to go.

All the blokes seem so lovely and like they will be good value for the show this year.

Ray Quinn is an awesome dancer, that was week 1…wow…but doesn’t he make any one else’s skin crawl? There’s just something about that kid that creeps me out, always has been always will be.
