…of course on the first night in weeks that there was actually loads of shows on last night, my Internet died on me so I was unable to watch any thing.

Now I am all behind. Two episodes of Scrubs, two hours of American Idol and two hours of The Biggest Loser that I just don’t know when I will get the chance to get caught up on.

Grr.

I am not sure that I will watch American Idol this season any way though, I tend not to like it once it gets passed the auditions stage — time will tell.

I have blogged about payday loans, financial assistance and managing your accounts in the past several times and I still stand by what I have always said — I am extremely grateful that I have always been sensible with money and never found myself in a position to need that sort of help.

The other half on the other hand, not so good with money. In fact I think I would say we are exact opposites — he spends what he doesn’t have and I don’t spend what I do have.

When we first got together he was already heavily in debt so I had to do a lot of learning about things fast and after a few years when he was in a much better position and his debts were on the verge of being gone — he bought a new car and put himself right back to square one.

I despaired with him, but eventually you just have to accept that not everyone is wired the same way. And as much as loans seem crazy to me, for some people they are a necessity, a way of life even.

I heard about a company called NowGetLoan a while ago and will be spending some time on the site tonight — they offer bad credit car loans for people who really need that car loan but are having a hard time getting someone to lend them the money!

Oh happy days, 24 is back — Four hours over two day? Bliss.

For me 24 is one of only a handful of American drama shows that is still decent, even after so many seasons — I find the most have awesome first two seasons then turn to crap. Lost, Alias, Heroes…I could name countless others.

I have only seen the first two episodes so far, I plan to watch the other two tonight so shall report back with my feelings then

Can you believe that it is going to be the 43rd Superbowl competition in just under three weeks time? I knew that it had been going for a long time, of course, but seeing that number surprised me a little bit still.

And it’s only three weeks away, not even that long in fact, it all goes down on the first of February!

I am not nearly as much into my sports as I used to be, and I am not nearly as much into my sports ad my husband to be — but I do love the Superbowl, it is such a huge global event that it is hard not to.

Very unusually though I think, is the fact I don’t have a team — inevitably come the final stages I am rooting for one team more than the other, but that could be a different team each year. Most of friends think that makes me crazy!

I have been getting my NFL news from Comcast lately, they are really up to date and have loads of interactive sections such as the forums where you can talk to fellow fans and have loads of videos to help keep us up to date.
