…Ulrika!
What now? How did that happen?
I didn’t dislike her as such, but she is surely the most unexpected and least deserving winner since…since…well since Rachel won Big Brother 9 last summer.
She was in there for the pay cheque, purley and simply. She moaned and whinged her way through and constantly spoke of wanting to leave — plus she wasn’t exactly the typical ‘nicey nicey’ winner that often beats out the more entertaining housemates.
I think for entertainment value Coolio should have won, I think for the best overall housemate factor Terry should have won. Ulrika was so far down my list I hadn’t even considered she might win.
Here’s one thing I do know, I am expecting a phone call from a very bemused and annoyed mother tomorrow after she’s seen the show!
Oh well, well done Ulrika — no idea how you did it, but did it you did, indeed.

Uh oh, it’s that time again — car insurance renewal month.
I don’t actually drive, but I still pay half towards the other halves driving costs including all the boring bits like insurance, tax and MOT — and I hate it, it’s so expensive and annoyingly is all due at the same time. February is going to be a month of many nights in and baked beans on toast type meals!
I always us a price comparison site to make sure we are getting the best possible deal and here’s a top tip, a lot of car insurance firms offer cashback..as much as £150… so it’s worth checking around for that

I am about 30 minutes into the first episode of Lost and…meh.
Time Travel huh? The laziest and most unimaginative plot device known to man, how dull.
I have given up for now because it was annoying me. Don’t get me wrong, I am not ditching Lost completely — I am dedicated to the shows I like even after the turn to crap, I will watch the rest of the episode and indeed the rest of the season.
But not today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not even within the next month. It’s simply not that interesting any more.
