Wait, what? I didn’t blog about The Amazing Race Australia yet this week? It’s unheard of!

I had best update you then, here’s what happened since I last posted about the Purple team getting eliminated….

It became the Nathan and Andrew show. Seriously, I don’t think any one else has had more than a few moments screen time this week.

It started when Ajay announced that the voting was not over for the night — it was time to vote for the biggest threat, dun dun dun, except not so much because it was obvious they wouldn’t be going home.

Predictably Nathan and Andrew, team Blue, were chosen and Ajay then informs us that they have the chance to stay. It’s 6 vs 1. All other teams average weight loss vs theirs. If they lose they go home, if they win they get to decide who goes home.

Green team have a bit of a freak out about this assuming they will be the target.

Delightful Bob gives his biggest loser of the week prize of getting to spend time with a loved one to…Nathan and Andrew.

Warehouse, Nathan and Andrew get to decide which group have to live off of $5 a day and which group have to live off of take away — they opt for the $5 themselves.

Andrew damages his knee, hospital visit, drama drama drama.

Sheriff and Teresa win immunity because Nathan and Andrew weren’t eligible. This means they also win the power of the walk — the walk reveals they have to give pleasure to one couple and pain to another. They choose Yellow for the pain and they are packed off to a ‘Dark New Force’, trainer Emazon who pretty much beats them about a bit and tells them to toughen up, then sends them on their way noting that they are not to tell any one about Emazon (cheese alert!).

Orange and Yellow have a bit of a blow up.

Nathan and Andrew commentate on all of these events by the way, their opinion is the only one that matters don’t you know.

Challenge comes around and the hamsters have to walk across a beam spanning a pool carrying weights. It’s Everyone Vs Nathan and Andrew. Everyone suck at it and only successfully manage to get across once in 90 minutes. Nathan and Andrew get off to a slow start but then kill it and bring back a score of 10. This means that everyone else has to now go without their trainer until after the next weigh in.

Win or lose (and based on the edit, I fully expect them to win) I will just be glad when this week is over. Too much Nathan and Andrew, far far too much.

My darling husband to be asked me to ‘Pimp his iPhone’ earlier, quite why he couldn’t do this himself I am not sure — but since he’s hot and I rather like him I said “sure, no problem, what you want?”

He told me to just pick for him. So I went on a quest to find Simpsons, Snooker and Babe related goodies!

A quick search brought me to iPhoneAtmo.com, they offer loads of great looking iphone wallpaper absolutely free.

This is great because we hate paying for things, who doesn’t right? But we are especially tight, and proud

They already had one Simpsons wallpaper on the site and since he had the same image on his desktop at one point I knew he’d like it. Unsurprisingly they have a Babes category jam packed with content — funny that they are always the busiest areas on wallpaper sites, isn’t it? hehe — but I couldn’t possibly be seen to encourage him to look at other ladies, so I went with Homer’s brain.

This site also offers some free and complete iphone themes, which I have found are a lot harder to come across.

Best thing about the site is that you can make requests, so if you don’t already see what you fancy give them a shout and they’ll make it and add it to the site for yourself and every one else to enjoy. Hurrah.

I don’t know why I have only just started watching this show, it’s in it’s 5th season already but it is the first one I have watched.

Half way through the season I already decided I love it and made a start on getting my hands on the first 4 seasons. I am going to have fun catching up on them for sure now that this season is over.

I was disappointed with the winner though — Stefan was an arrogant ass, but he dominated the whole season and so clearly should have won. Hosea did nothing for me and barely won any thing, he didn’t make a mark at all.

Maybe I just went off him after he cheated on his girlfriend on national TV, that hardly makes you want to root for a guy does it?

Roll on the reunion show. I can’t wait to see if Hosea rightly got kicked to the curb by his missus and how Stefan feels seeing Fabio throw him under the bus (So much for ‘Team Europe’, Fabio!) at the finale meal!

I just got around to watching last weeks episode of Project Runway Canada and was really saddened to read the note at the end of the episode that contestant Danio had lost his battle with cancer and passed away on February 10th.

He had left the show in the first episode of his own accord after feeling he was too unwell to continue, and even though he was only there for one challenge he came across as a really nice bloke and already established himself as ‘one to watch’ among the other contestants and judges.

I was absolutely certain he would return for a second chance in season three and it’s sad that won’t now happen.

My thoughts are with his loved ones and may he rest in peace.

You know when I first became interested in Poker? When I watched ‘Rob and Amber: Against the Odds’, where they move out to Vegas so that Rob can learn how to play poker professionally.

I am a huge Rob and Amber fan, and I am not ashamed to admit it! I first came across them on The Amazing Race and was confused as to why every one on the many reality TV forums I post on seemed to hate them so much, because they seemed rather awesome to me — competitive, funny, cheeky — so I watched their season of Survivor, and although I can definitely see how his arrogance and they way they dominated the game was annoying, the level of hate still seemed way over the top.

Season 4 The Biggest Loser Australia, the year of the game players.

I have to say I didn’t think they’d send Purple home, they all seem so hardcore in love with her and I didn’t think the producers would want her to go so early.

She really did need to be there, I think she only lost a few KG in the 2 months she has had at home??

I very much doubt that they are actually going to eliminate the person who gets the most votes, notice how Ajay never actually said they’d be eliminated? Just that they needed to vote for who they wanted to be eliminated, hmmm, sneaky — I bet the team with the most votes gets an advantage, or maybe are given a challenge to determine if they get to stay!

Also, cage fighting? Scary new female trainer? What what?!

I have been thinking about posting television news here on 1netez.net, as well as just my opinions — so I was searching around to find a good source and came across DayMix, it’s a search engine that gives you not only link results but also videos, images, blogs and every thing else.

At the top there’s a bar that contains links to the current most searched terms which is pretty neat, up there at the moment are Fundraising ideas, The Atkins Diet and Slumdog Millionaire to name but a few!

I just searched for The Biggest Loser Australia and my search experience was good, my other reality site my this one feature heavily in the results, which makes me happy — I like that all the results are on one page, you can get the same results on google but you have to search seperately if you want vidoes…images…blog posts etc.

You can even grab a widget to put onto your blog like the one below that updates dynamically. It’ll be interesting to see how long this blog post takes to appear in the results

…what have they done to it? The latest series is just 4 episodes in and I have already given up on it, and you guys know I don’t give up on shows once I start on them, I am a sticker.

But really, it’s baaad.

No series has ever topped the original that aired probably 10 years ago now, I am pretty sure it was actually one of the first ever reality shows as we know them now. the original shipwrecked spawn dear Jeff Brazier, a guy who was once famous for something other than being Jade Goody’s baby daddy — but since it’s revival a few years ago it has still been well worth a watch. This series it just holds no interest at all.

I couldn’t name a single contestant right now if my life depended on it. Though there’s probably a guy called Charles, they do like their posh kids on this show don’t they?

Shame, but I doubt it will be back for more series after this one.
