I am British, therefore I like tea.
I usually don’t like living up to stereotypes, but in this case…hey ho…it’s true so why not?
I really do love a nice cup of tea and like most people I have somewhat of a schedule when it comes to my tea drinking, most importantly though is that I brew my tea — as in boil the kettle and then pour the hot water into one of my teapots with a fresh bag in it, then leave it to brew for 10 minutes. So many people just make them straight into the cup these days, it’s just not right!
The first thing I do when I get up is go to the loo, then I head downstairs and make a cup of tea — usually a fully caffeinated regular bag. I will then have another one a few hours later but this time it will be a green tea. I have another green one after my evening meal and then another two throughout the evening, decaf ones this time. I will then often have one last decaf before I head to bed — I don’t think you are meant to drink tea before bed, but I find it really helps wind me down for the night

There are so many reality TV shows out there covering so many genres, fashion and beauty, health and weight loss, design, singing, dancing, cooking — you name it, they have one.
Except for, and correct me if I am wrong, Gardening!
I really can’t think of a gardening related reality show. I know they have shows where someones garden gets a makeover, but I am talking about competitive style reality shows. I would say that it’s because watching who can grow the best perennials wouldn’t be very interesting — but then on paper I don’t think any reality shows sound interesting.
‘Watch 12 people work out and eat well to try and lose weight’
‘Watch 12 people cater in a kitchen’
‘Watch 12 people learn to dance’
I wouldn’t watch any of those just based on that!

I love The Biggest Loser, as you know, since I blog about it — well, constantly.
But I sometimes wonder about the message it sends, I think overall it’s a great message — get up off your behind and do something — but it also worries me that the speed they lose weight makes others who are doing it the normal way feel bad.
I have lost 70lbs in 2 years, it takes Biggest Loser contestants 2 months to do the same. I just wonder how many people it makes go running for the diet pills, NO2 Black, supplements, metabolism boosters and god knows what else!

New season of Dancing With The Stars already? Didn’t the last one only finish like, last week? You do like to bash them out don’t you?
Here’s who I have heard of from the lineup:
Lil Kim
Belinda Carlisle
Steve O
The rest are all foreign to me, though 3 out of 13 isn’t bad — I think last season I only knew 1 of the line up!
Steve O and his partner are going to be very annoying, I couldn’t stand her last year, and now she’s paired with a ‘rebel’ she’s going to be even more insufferable. I bet they make it a long way though. The ones I don’t like always do.

If I ever win the lottery one of the first things on my splurge list is a home Tanning Bed, I spend as much time on the Salon Tanning Beds as possible but having one in my own home would be a dream come true

Here’s an interesting opportunity I happened upon a while ago, great if you are in the process of looking for a new job.
If you post your resume on Resumark.com you can get paid to job hunt basically, because each time a potential employer downloads it for a look you get paid $1! If you are looking for a job you will no doubt post resume online any way, so why not make a little extra money while you do it, right? You can also get $0.50 each time a friend you have referred has their resume downloaded!
If that wasn’t enough they have a contest running where you can win $500 by being the first person to refer 100 legitimate new registrations
