Have you seen the latest storyline in Neighbours, Donna’s mother has turned up with her mind set on dating a millionaire, specifically Paul Robinson — it’s stupid because she hasn’t even been in the show for a week and he’s already falling for her, they will be married within a month at this rate. Soaps really are unrealistic aren’t they, shocking!
Seeing the eliminated contestants come back for chance to get back in the game on The Biggest Loser Australia reminds me of the first time it happened way back in season one, and the awful way the final three and Jillian treated returnee Harry — Adro especially was a big child about it, saying how unfair it was and being really unkind to and about Harry. Adro ended up getting eliminated next, but at the start of the finale he was brought back into the game because Harry had been taking vitamins…yes vitamins, not diet pills like liporexall or anything, while he was out of the house.
It later came out that Adro has whinged and moaned and threatened with lawyers so the producers had had to come up with a way to get Adro back in. I always thought it was the biggest crock ever and am still bitter that Adro went on to win and was/is a very popular contestant — it seemed like I was the only person on the planet that saw his hypocrisy!
Speaking of The Apprentice, I just got around to watching last weeks Apprentice USA where they had to create a presentation for Lifelock, an identity theft protection service — what is the deal with Joan Rivers? She’s a bloody lunatic, one minute she hates Clint the next she is fine with him and saying Annie is the devil — I am pretty sure that the vast majority of this season is scripted for the drama and ratings, because otherwise she is actually a crazy person.
