…that you always see contestants on reality shows driving around in limousines, from New York to Dallas limo, they always either get driving to their locations in them or win trips in them as part of prizes.
Think about how many times you have seen the girls from Next Top Model riding around in one. Think about how often the guys from Hell’s Kitchen get taken off in one when they win the weekly challenge. Even the people who get fired on The Apprentice are driven away in one while they do their piece to camera each week.
There’s something about a limousine that gives this air of money and sophistication — why is that? It’s only a car and they are relatively cheap to rent these days, any one can save their pennies for a little while and book one to take them on their hen party or something.
Still, I would love to be driving around in one…just once…a pink one preferably but hey I wouldn’t be picky.
You can hire an executive limo service in the Fort Worth area through gcslimousine.com, they have been in the business for many years and are a well known and respected name.

I usually love this show, but 4 episodes in and I am finding it really hard to care this year.
I can’t even place my finger on why, but it seems like a totally different show. I cannot stand Marco, but I couldn’t stand him last year either but still enjoyed the show so I don’t think him being back helps but it is certainly not that missing element.
I don’t really care about any of the celebrities, I don’t know many of them and they don’t seem like a very likable or interesting lot. But often times I don’t know the celebrities on these shows, that’s part of the fun and we get to know them pretty fast.
There seems to be little about the actual cooking this year, I have no clue who is doing what in the kitchen — I have no idea who is good and bad even. But then, I don’t care too much about the cooking…I watch the show for the drama and fun, not the cooking skills.
I like Claudia Winkleman, but miss Angus terribly — above any chef who has ever been on the show, he has been the star of the show for me, his sarcastic and cynical presenting style and one liners are what made the show a stand out. I was gutted to learn he wouldn’t be back and doubly gutted to learn he wasn’t coming back because Marco didn’t like being ‘disrespected’ by him.
Ultimately I think that it is a combination of all of the above, with Angus being gone as the final nail in the coffin.
I am officially stopping watching.

I bet that John from last seasons Biggest Loser Australia wished he could have gotten a no exam life insurance policy, then he would have been able to stay on the show for longer — despite his stubborn nature that meant he refused to follow Shannan’s orders and got him kicked off the show because the producers just could not risk the medical consequences. He was so stupid for that as it was the chance in a life time.

I have to say I am not that much of a movie buff, in that I rarely get excited about upcoming movies or know much about them…I just watch what I watch and I either like it or I don’t. I often go on these free screenings here in the UK, where you get to see films before they come out and I always go to them ‘blind’, I don’t read reviews or synopsis before going — but then get a kick out of reading them afterwards and realising that 9 times out of 10 the ones I like the sound of I don’t enjoy and vice verse, strange huh?
TheFilmReview.com is a UK based film review site that I came across a while ago, I will definitely add it to my bookmarks to use next time I am planning a trip to the cinema.
I just watched their Summer of Cinema trailer, that has information about what is to come over summer 2009 and there are a few films instantly added to my list such as the new transformers movie and the new Seth Rogan one.

I am headed away in a few weeks to spend some time with my husband to be’s family, always lovely to spend time with them — but I also miss my telly while I am gone. I can still watch my UK shows, but can’t get a hold of the numerous other ones from around the world I watch — American, Canadian, New Zealand and Australian to name but a few.
I need to get new luggage before I go, I got my last case on the cheap thinking I had got myself a killer bargain but I would have been better off spending on some quality designer luggage as it has pretty much fallen to pieces within about four uses, oh dear.
So looks like I am headed to the luggage store on Monday with my credit card ready for action

I gave up Heroes a few weeks ago and now it looks like Lost won’t be too far behind.
What was that episode, not this weeks as I am a little behind, but the one that aired the week before. We had at least two dead people running around the island in John Locke and Alex, plus a smoke monster, time travel and heck knows what other lazy plot devices and holes.
What has this show become? I feel like I don’t care about what happens to any of these people any more, in fact I don’t even know who half of them are…he’s been in it for several episodes now and although I know he must have been in it previously I am still yet to work out who the pilot guy, Frank?, is meant to be.
I remember the producers way back in season 1 & 2 telling us that every thing on the island could be explained with science and no such silly nonsense as time travel or monsters existed. Liars.
