I only just got around to watching the Prison Break finale, I know I know, how very behind of me.
I still don’t know who that Kellerman dude was, obviously he’s been in it before and judging from the conversations he betrayed them, but I have an awful memory and didn’t remember him which sort of ruined things a little.
I have to say I thought it was rather lame that all the bad guys ended up in bad situations — Bagwell back in prison, Self a cripple, Michaels Mother dead etc and all the good guys got a happy ending. Not very realistic is it.
And, although I saw Michael’s death coming a mile off I did still think it was a very emotional and powerful way to end the show off.
Overall I enjoyed the finale and season in general.

I was just looking at choice hotels summer promotion to see what sort of bargains they have available because…dun dun dun…it’s holiday time!
This time last year we were packing and getting ready to go, I remember because I was completely distraught that I was going to be away during the first week of Big Brother 9!
No such issue this year as we’re going to have to go at the end of July instead due to work commitments and money issues. I am sure I will still be gutted to miss out on a week of Big Brother, but it is not going to hurt as much missing a random middle of series week as it did missing the first.
You can actually get some really great cash promotion deals and the like at some really nice hotels like the hotel rewards free cash cards at Choice Hotels, which is news to me — I am queen of the bargains and cashback offers when it comes to general shopping but I never really considered it for hotels.
I always got my holiday bargains by booking last minute.
Any way, super excited and I can’t wait to start making plans and bookings, it’s going to be a good one this year, we deserve it

I’ve been doing a little online shopping today.
Moi? Online Shopping? Shock!
I know that shopping and watching TV are all I ever seen to do, but I do have a life outside that, no honest I do.
I came across Exspecto.com, a great shopping search engine and there was no stopping me — you can search by category, by merchants and by price range. I found some great sunglasses ready for the summer for just £5, bargains.
What I like best though is that you can set a PriceAlert, so if there’s something you want but don’t fancy paying the price you can currently find it for, it will keep searching for you and let you know when it comes up at a price you are willing to pay. Neato! I have some things on my want list at the moment

I watched the first season of So You Think You Can Dance, and although I enjoyed it I didn’t love it so I didn’t watch more — until recently that is when I started watching the latest season as there’s not a lot else on at the moment. I really really enjoyed the first two episodes, they make me want to run out and buy dancewear so that I can be on the show next year!
heh I can’t see that happening somehow, I think I would need several years of practice first, but it’d still be neat to learn how to dance a little

I watch a lot of late night TV and the “chat live with hot singles now!” type ads never fail to amuse me, not because they are advertising phone chat services — just because they are so darned cheesy and to be frank most of the women they use as examples of who’s waiting on the phone for them to talk to — ain’t all that.
Also the fact they charge like £1 per text and £1.50 per minute on calls etc, why on earth would people pay that sort of money when there are sites
free singles chat on the wonderful world wide web, like Talk121.com, where you can connect with others in your area absolutely free. It seems like a pretty neat service actually, you leave and receive recorded voice messages and can then connect for a one to one chat if both parties are interested.
Much better than texting some random that might actually be a 60 year old granddad for £1 a pop!

I am going on holiday na na na naaa, I have got the green light from my work and my husband to be’s work — happy days, I was worried we wouldn’t have the chance to get away this year due to work commitments and money being tight so I am over the moon right now.
However it’s not all roses because it is going to be a super budget holiday, I told my fiance I could get us somewhere just as nice as last year for half the price, so errr, I better get looking for an economy hotels promo and budget hotels summer specials so I can see what is out there in our price range.
I do hope I have not bitten off more than I can chew here.
We want something in a coastal location, of course, a holiday is not a holiday without a beach and sea nearby. It nice to be a nice place but we’re not too bothered about it being totally luxurious, even on our higher budget we never go for luxury – just somewhere to rest your head at night and get the occasional feeding for your belly.
Right, less blogging — off I go to start searching

When I am not watching television, on the odd, rare, once in a blue moon time that happens
— I like to actually leave the house and watch other things, like movies, plays, comedians etc.
I always keep an eye on the presale concert tickets at RedLineTickets.com because often shows are coming up that I don’t realise or have never heard of but seeing them on the site sounding awesome makes me want to go and see them, plus I like the idea of getting things presale — it makes me feel special.
In fact I am going to go see what they have right now, see what takes my fancy

I work in the graphic design/video editing industry and deal with every thing from DVD replication to CD Authoring, so I like to think I know my apples from my oranges, but truth be told I am so used to using the select few pieces of software that I am trained in it becomes a complete nightmare for me on the odd occasion I have to use something else. I really should try getting better in multiple softwares, it can only help me out in the long run.
If you are a company and need help with any thing like graphic design, full full-service CD authoring, DVD authoring, CD and DVD mastering services and replication and duplication then check out VE Associates. Based in California but dealing with businesses nationwide they are a well known and respected name in the field who offer a professional and speedy service at great prices.
I hope to be able to work for a company of their calibre one day, I love my job and the people I work for but it is only a small local firm with only a handful of big clients. My plan is to either get promoted there or move on to bigger and better things in the next two years.
