Having a flutter

I like sports, I like gambling. So I am sure it’s no shock to learn, I enjoy sports betting! I pretty much never bet based on my own thoughts or allegiances to teams, I actually use websites and information to make sure I am placing the most sensible bet — it’s boring, but it works.

preakness_stakes_2009I think the next event I will have a wee flutter on is the Preakness stakes horse race which is coming up in a few weeks times. I’d better start looking for a website offering Preakness Stakes Odds and make my Preakness Stakes Picks.

I have not had a win for a while, so perhaps my boring approach doesn’t work so well after all? Hmm.

I will be super excited to see the Preakness Stakes Results come through and see if my losing streak can be broken!

The Biggest Loser UK

I can’t believe I have not blogged about The Biggest Loser UK yet, it’s been on air for 7 episodes now!

It started last Monday, the same day as The Biggest Loser Australia ended (waaa, miss you!). This is technically the 3rd series of the show as it aired for two series back in 2005/6 and spawned the first female winner from any where around the world :)

00020403It aired on some obscure cable channel though and wasn’t a big success so it got axed. I was so excited a few months ago when I heard ITV were bringing it back — big channel, big budget, big promotion, right?

Wrong.

It’s still the same low budget show and it airs in the day time. It’s already being canned as crap by people used to the Australian and USA version and I have not seen any statistics, but I would bet the viewing figures aren’t great.

I am however enjoying it a lot.

Howdy Sports Fans

fc_sportsinjury_main_3What is your sport of choice? Mine is snooker…which is odd because I generally don’t enjoy watching sports, so you’d think if one sport was going to break that mould it’d be something exciting like football, or boxing, but no — it’s snooker.

Of course it’s easy to see where my appreciation comes from, my husband to be has been playing since he was a boy and he spends a lot of his free time in the local snooker club!

Physrioroom.com is a leading sports website, specialising in sports injuries. You can not only find out what a pain you are feeling is likely to be such as shin splints, purchase any items you’d need to help you heal or feel better but they also own the Premier League Injury Table List so you can take a look and see which players are injured, how and any previous injuries they may have suffered.

WOW, that’s…hmm.

world-of-warcraft-logoAre you into those role playing games like World of Warcraft? I’m not, even though I love playing the Sims and things like that I have never gotten into the whole role playing games thing.

My little brother loves it though and is always buying bits and bobs for it that I don’t understand, the last thing he did was buy wotlk key at BuyMMOAccounts.com.

I want to call him a strange kid, but that’d make me a huge hypocrite lol
