I’ve been using the elliptical for a long time now, around a year and a half maybe — but I have been thinking of getting rid and buying a treadmill instead. You get used to using certain things so they become less effective and that is definitely true of my elliptical, I have to work so hard just to get my heart rate up.

Last week I used a friends home treadmill and I was huffing and puffing and in my aerobic heart rate zone within around 8 minutes!

I just looked on SmoothFitness.com and they have a folding treadmill at just under $1000 — I would definitely need a folding one because I don’t have much space, and I would definitely need one under $1000 because I don’t have much money! So this one could be my winner!

…that you always see contestants on reality shows driving around in limousines like the ones on viplimosedan.com, from New York to Derby, they always either get driven to their locations in them or win trips in them as part of prizes.

Think about how many times you have seen the girls from Next Top Model riding around in one. Think about how often the guys from Hell’s Kitchen get taken off in one when they win the weekly challenge. Even the people who get fired on The Apprentice are driven away in one while they do their piece to camera each week.

There’s something about a limousine that gives this air of money and sophistication — why is that? It’s only a car and they are relatively cheap to rent these days, any one can save their pennies for a little while and book one to take them on their hen party or something.

Still, I would love to be driving around in one…just once…a pink one preferably but hey I wouldn’t be picky.

Neighbours made me chuckle today, Zeke managed to knock out Ringo, because he had a martial arts tutor for all of about 2 weeks that he was away from home.

What has happened to Zeke any way, ridiculous ‘he learned how to fight in 2 weeks’ storyline aside, he’s been a total douche since he returned and is suddenly apparently super attractive to the opposite sex.

That’s one thing I hate about soaps, the way they completely change people’s characters over night with no real explanation. It’s the same with Peggy from Eastenders, from doting mother to murderess in five minutes flat!

I wouldn’t mind finding myself a martial arts tutor you know, now that I am really not getting any where weight loss wise with cardio I have been thinking about taking up something like yoga or pilates, but a martial art may suit me more!
