Soccer Shop!

Neighbours cracks me up, there’s a reason it’s my all time favourite soap! It’s just so unrealistic it’s not funny…well no it is funny, that’s why I like it.

For example last week Toadie started writing a screenplay on Friday night and by Monday’s show it was finished, several people had read it and loved it and the school had decided to do it as their play rather than Agamemnon!

soccer-ball-over-skyThen about 2 weeks ago the ladies of Ramsey Street decided to start up a soccer team, there was the storyline where they were trying to get someone to buy them their kit and Goal Keeper Gloves and the like and now they are already in the quarter finals of the league!

Gotta love it!

We don’t all want to dress like Karly!

karly516_42718a

Karly from this years Big Brother UK is so pretty, but she doesn’t look it because of the make up she wears and the clothes — sure they show off her great body but they also make her look cheap!

She’s been in the house for a month now and I am yet to see her without her 10 tonnes of slap on or wearing any modest clothing for women. It’s all hot pants and boob tubes, fake eyelashes, fake hair etc.

Funnily enough the nicest I have seen her looking is on last nights show when she was wearing a suit as part of the Italian task!

Credit Crunch

These are tough times we are living it, it’s quite amazing to me how the entire world can go from what it was to what it is now in just a few short years — and if the news is correct things are only set to become worse before they start to get better.

I try not to worry about it, you’d drive yourself mad thinking about what might happen, but it is a little scary for every one!

The Credit Exchange deal in credit counseling and consolidation referrals, so if you have found yourself in a real financial pickle help is at hand :)

Loved Live Nominations

I loved the live nominations format on Big Brother a few night ago, though I hated the outcome of Freddie and Angel being up.

big-brother-10-hallway-en-003It was really exciting, that’s the first time in years I have not known who was going to be up before watching and I loved the bish, bash, bosh factor of it!

I have long since been saying they should do that, I love the Australian version of the show and that’s how they do nominations.

I really really hope that they will do it like this all the time. It was a real big hit with fans :)

Too competitive, moi?

Logo_and_hillsWhen I am not spending time sat staring at the box watching TV, I am usually sat staring at the other box playing Trivia Games on Facebook or just having fun in general on the Interweb.

It is somewhat of an obsession playing games on Facebook, I love the competitive nature of having a leader board and I always have to be top of it among my friends each week. Last week I was so into a game that I actually removed a friend because they had an impossible score to beat — no lie!

I just came across Triviala.com which seems right up my street, it’s a Fun trivia game site and I rock at Trivia if I do say so myself :)

The new Quiz Mania game is awesome because it’s multi player and user generated games — I am about to go and create my own trivia quiz on all things Big Brother, see if any one else has the geek knowledge about it that I do!

What makes it even better is that although it is totally free and easy to join you can actually win real cash prizes. As you play the games you amass ‘crowns’ which you can then use to enter prize draws and the like. Fun!

Getting into Big Brother now!

big-brother-10-hallway-en-003It’s taken a while this series, because the lack of live feed really annoyed me and affected my enjoyment but I am now feeling Big Brother 10 UK — I have housemates I love and housemates I loathe and I care what happens!

Happy days.

I am loving Freddie and Angel, they are unique and Freddie is a happy soul. I also like Sree for entertainment value, he’s bloody crazy. I quite like Karly, love Siavesh and although she’s pretty vapid I like Sophie as well.

Can’t stand Lisa, Kris or Charlie.

It pains me that Charlie is quite well liked by the public because every thing he says and does comes across as incredibly false to me. It seems like he’s trying to play the funny cheeky Northern chappy, but in reality he’s a mean, cocky numbnut!

Roll on week 4 :)

Shopping Spreee

….ugh the word spree just reminded me of Sree from Big Brother, the obnoxious little toad.

clarks-shoesAny way, I just went on a shopping spree…my favourite kind in fact, a Clarks shoes shopping spree!

I won’t be keeping all the pairs I ordered unfortunately, my bank balance does not stretch that far. But I ordered 8 pairs….trainers, high heals, boots.

Can’t wait for them to arrive :)

NFL loving dad!

nfl_sunday_ticketFurther to my post earlier today, another big sports fan in my family is my dad who just goes crazy over the NFL. He asked me to find out the best available nfl sunday ticket price as he wants his nfl sunday ticket and he wants it now!

I was just looking at the nfl sunday ticket schedule at Blog Television and you can see up to 16 games per week and 200 games per season with it so I understand why he wants it!

He loves nothing more than plonking down on the couch with a beer in one hand and some junk food such as a pizza or burger in the other and just watching the game, cheering on his team and his favourite players. He can happily watch hours and hours of the build up beforehand and analysis afterwards as well.

He’s a total junkie :)

Sports Fans

I wish that I could get into sports, because then I would have more to watch on the television — and you all know that that is my favourite past time ;)

liverpool_fc_by_josephleeI love watching my fiance get excited about watching his team, Liverpool FC. He talks about them non stop in the run up to a match and when he has Liverpool Tickets and is actually going to see them in the flesh he’s like a little kid, he even has rituals he does before setting off to bring the team luck. It’s somewhat strange, but it also makes me wish I felt the same way about a sports team because it seems exciting!

You can book Liverpool FC Tickets at The Sports Box Office, they have tickets for both home and away games and you can either book online via the website or by calling them :)
