If I do end up getting my beloved and much wanted pooch, I will definitely be kitting it out with all the accessories and dog toys I can get my hands on — I will spoil it rotten that’s for sure.

Fancy collars, killer pet beds, winter coats — you name it, if it’s cute I am there!

I was thinking I might try and convince the husband to be on a cat first, and then build up to a dog, as cats are not as expensive…what do they need except food, drink and maybe a few scratching posts ? Plus they are a lot more independent — they take themselves for a walk so you don’t have to

Or I could do what I saw on TV today. The Biggest Loser UK contestants got a video message from home and one of the woman’s kids came on screen and announced they had been a big naughty in her absence….and got a dog! Something she had said a categorical ‘NO’ to.

But I like their thinking, once the dog is owned and in the house and all fallen in love with — who could say no? You’d surely have to have a heart of stone, and as grumpy as he may be, my husband to be does not have a heart of stone!

If I ever do manage in convincing my husband to be that we should get a dog, I know lots of places to get accessories as I have searched for a lot of pet information over the years in trying to convince him. You can get really cute and affordable dog beds at BuyDogBeds.com — if I had my way the dog would be at the bottom of our bed with us, but I know he wouldn’t agree to that in 100 years and really I don’t blame him, so a special dog bed would be needed.

Am I the only person who doesn’t like hand dryers in public bathrooms? Seriously they never seem to work, they are just noisy and blow your hair about a bit.

A few weeks ago I almost got into a fight with a woman in a public bathroom because of it. She was talking to her friend who was in one of the cubicles, I came out and washed my hands and then put them under the drier — she then tutted at me loudly and told her friend that ‘Some rude bitch just turned the drier on’, normally I wouldn’t rise to things like that but I couldn’t help myself.

My brain hurts today, oh boy it hurts so bad.

Between trying to post several shows to youtube, trying to find a treadmill for my mum and trying to find the perfect Myrtle Beach Resort to go to on our next vacation, my brain feels like it’s done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.

There are some really gorgeous Myrtle Beach hotels that are making me turn green with envy and want to be there right now, rather than having to wait until 2010. I wish we were going this year now, but we’ve left it too late to organise and I just booked us a vacation in Wales for the end of the month a few days ago.

Still it gives me plenty of time to do lots of research on the best Myrtle Beach resorts that will most suit our needs and requirements, so that it’s the vacation of a lifetime

So Big Brother 10 UK starts tonight, I am mildly excited…but compared to how I used to be, meh.

I am not that into the show any more, I was only really maintaining an interest because I was going to be posting about it over on my other site, but now I won’t be doing that I am wondering if I even need to watch it at all.

They’ve killed the 24/7 live feed and therefore the whole premise of the show for me.

I was without my Direct TV for 6 whole days a few months ago, those were some dark days.

When you are moving you have 1001 things to think about and prepare, so making sure that getting my DirectTV package seamlessly moved without a break was one of the many things I didn’t consider until it was too late. I didn’t realise until we’d been in the new house for 2 days and I turned the TV on, then had to frantically search for Direct TV in Florida and sign up again.

So, don’t be a dummy like me…make sure that getting your cable set up/moved is one of the things on your todo when you are moving house
