Home Theater = Heaven

I was looking at home theater design Dallas earlier for my other halves boss, who is simply showing off by getting one of the spare rooms in his house made into a home theatre.

I am not jealous, no not at all, honest.

OK I am really, I am as green as The Hulk — but at least we are good friends and in return for helping him pick out furniture and the like for it we’ve been told we can stop by and use it whenever we want.

I currently have a 120 day free DVD trial running with Tesco DVD rental that allows me unlimited rentals, so I am going to be taking him up on that offer and using it all the time.

the-hangover-stillI went to the cinema last night, to see ‘The Hangover’ and it was really great — I rarely enjoy movies so it’s a rare treat when I do. The theatre was packed when we got there though because we were running a little late, there must have only been about 10 spare seats in the whole place and because it was pitch black it was hard to see them. We ended up right at the front and to the left, I had a sore neck afterwards!

So the use of a home theatre designed by precisionelectronicssystems.com will be heaven :)

Dragon’s Den Newbie

I have only just started watching Dragons Den, I don’t know why I didn’t get into it sooner though because it’s really great — but the good thing about it is that I now have a llloooooottt of old episodes to catch up on, the repeats that air almost constantly on freeview channel Dave are a godsend!

elton_john_ipods_groupshot3I just watched the episode with the Elton John limited edition iPod nano, there are only going to be 900 of them and they are covered in Swarovski crystals, YUM! And of course some of the proceeds go to charity, always a plus.

Want want want.

Paintballing is an option!

I have just been looking up information on all things paintballing, seeing where I can get paintball scopes and the like.

So, it’s the other halves 30th birthday in less than a months time — I really want us to do something special to celebrate but he’s not so keen, he’s never been much of a birthday person in the whole time we have been together and it took a lot of getting used to for me, but I did finally come to grips with it.

paintballHowever it’s his 30th this time man, I really feel like we should make it special despite his protestations on the matter.

I am thinking of just going ahead and planning something any way, but not sure what. Some of the options I have decided on are go karting and paintball or lazerquest.

But hey these things aren’t cheap so I would want to make sure he’d enjoy it, but then if I ask him which he’d most like he’ll say he doesn’t want to do any of them and would just rather have a few drinks and a lay in instead.

What is a girl to do?

Well if we do decide on paintballing at least I will know what I am talking about because I learned loads of stuff from ChoicePaintballGuns.com :)
