…and you hear that beep, thing of the fun you could be having on supermarket sweep!

*Sigh* why did they axe that show, it was frigging awesome. And it’s true that any time I was in the supermarket and heard the beep, I did think of the fun I could be having on Supermarket sweep!

I used to work in a shop and used a barcode scanner and every time that beeped I pretended I was on the show.

I was lame I know, but it was great mindless day time TV

The UK Biggest Loser finale just aired, but I have not watched it yet so I don’t know who won — though I think it is pretty obviously going to be Kevin, his percentage fair outweighs every one else going into the final stages so I don’t see how they could possibly catch up.

My only hope is that Mark wipes the floor with the lot of them. I really liked Kevin to begin with but the way in which he turned on Mark for being too competitive really turned me off of him, especially as Kevin then went on to prove that he was just as if not more competitive than him.

Mark’s only crime was being honest about being in it to win it.

On the other hand of the 4 in the final I do think Kevin deserves it the most as he has put in 100% effort since the very start.

It’s not been the best series to be honest. A lot of lazy and unlikable contestants and Kate Garroway was hella annoying, but I hope the viewing figures were good enough that it will return with a higher budget for another series

My dear old ma loves her gardening and spending time outside in general, I remember there being almost constant gardening shows on our TV as I was growing up. Ground Force with the lovely Charlie Dimmock and Tommy Walsh was her absolute favourite — it was like her favourite time of the week, she’s such a gardening nerd.

This is a good thing really though because it means I am never stuck for what to get her for her birthday, mother’s day and Christmas and every thing in between! The amount of times I have bought her seeds, garden planters and rakes, I have lost count!

I got her this gorgeous high end planter for mother’s day just gone that she absolutely loved, she said it was her favourite garden gift ever and it has taken pride of place in her front garden — it was definitely worth the money I paid for it

Unfortunately her green thumb has not been passed on in the genes to me — I have a window box planter that I barely managed to maintain and that’s about the extent of my interest in gardening!

Oooh ooooh. I was just saying in my last post that we are getting ready to book our vacation for this year and that I would really love to be going somewhere fancy and exotic, but can’t due to a lack of funds — then I just came across this great Cash in on Summer sweepstakes promotion from ABC’s Good Morning America.
