I just finished watching the final of The Fashion Show, go Anna, I was rooting for her to win as her collection was easily the most sellable and that is what the show said it was going to be about.

I enjoyed the season overall, but it’s definitely no Project Runway and I don’t understand what qualifies Kelly Rowland as a judge, she was in a girl group and probably wore nice clothes but I am sure they could have got someone more knowledgeable!

One thing I did really like about the show and actually thought was really clever was that each week they would actually sell a copy of the winning outfit on their website — aside from the obvious fact it makes them more money I just think it was a bright move. How many times have you watched a TV show, usually things like Next Top Model and Project Runway and so desperately wanted to own something you had seen?

I know I have looked items up in the past ‘as seen on TV’ and if I even ever managed to track them down they’ve cost about as much as a small car and I have had to pass.

I just came across SofiasReplica.com which might actually solve this problem in the future, they sell…well replicas of the bags we see celebrities swanning about with all the time, but at a fraction of the cost.

Why blow the budget and have to live on rice and beans for a month on a Louis Vuitton when you can get Fake Louis Vuitton handbags that look just as nice is what I say! Siavash has been my favourite housemate, along with Freddie, for several weeks now — but after just witnessing him sucking face with black widow Noirin on live feed just now I am going to have to relegate him.

Dude has got a girlfriend. He’s a douche.

That poor woman, imagine how painful it must be to even find out your boyfriend has cheated on you nevermind have to witness it on the television and deal with the fact millions of other people have seen it.

I really hope that he loses a lot of public support over this, shit happens and of course I don’t expect him to be shot for his crime, but he no longer deserves public adoration imho!

Outer Banks foreclosures

Watching shows like ‘Dream Homes’ makes me turn green with envy, to me that would be like the ultimate pleasure — having the money and time to be able to design, build and decorate a house to your exact desire — pure bliss.

I think that if we ever managed to fulfill that dream it would be due to a lottery win though, I think that at almost 30 years old we already know we won’t be earning enough to do it!

So come on, call out my lottery numbers please

If it did happen we would want a house with at least 4 bedrooms so that we’d have room when we decided to have children and there would always be the chance to have friends and family stay over. The other half would want a Golf Green out in the back garden as he really enjoys golf and finds it relaxing, he is pretty new to golf so doesn’t have great skills at the moment but has recently taken to heading to the local driving range after a hard week at work so he’s getting better. And I would want an indoor gym and swimming pool — so looks like we’d need a pretty big house!

I am a mere female, this means it is in my DNA to like shoes in an irrational manner — there’s no escaping it, if you are a fellow show fan you’ll understand (but never be able to express to men) why you always need another pair of shoes

I just got a new pair of Beautifeel Shoes last weekend and I am already looking at excuses to buy my next pair

I am thinking of getting some boots, I am hoping I will be able to pick some up cheap since it’s the middle of summer and there probably isn’t much call for them at the moment.

I do have to be careful with shoes in general though as I have always had ‘funny’ feet, it’s not that easy to find shoes that fit well and don’t cause me pain after being on them for more than five minutes. I find Clarks Shoes comfortable usually and have several pairs of specially designed for comfort ones — but I do also go wild sometimes and just buy some killer heals that make me drool even though I know I am going to be walking like an idiot in them within 10 minutes hehe

This show is one of my many guilty secrets, that isn’t so secret since I blog about it here — but hey if you can’t be honest in your blog where can you be? I love most of the trashy and silly dating shows that are on in the middle of the night, I like to pretend it’s just because I am a sucker for reality TV and love the drama — but really I am just a sucker for the love and want to see people making connections, I always secretly hope that they’ll fall madly in love and end up getting married, ahhh, I am such a sap really.

I always try and encourage my friends to join dating sites and spread their wings and try dating EU style, with the world wide web being so, well, world wide, there really is no reason that you should only have to look in your own country for that perfect person. If I were single and looking myself I would definitely sign up to a site like WestEastCafe.eu where you can meet people with all kinds of hobbies and interests similar to your own for love, dating and friendship.

I finally got around to watching it and I absolutely love it, I think it’s my new favourite!

It is very similar to Come Dine With Me in format and in the sarcastic voice over dude who’s aim seems to be to take the pee out of the participants.

Since I am planning on getting married at some point in the near future it’s great to see the various weddings and I love bitching along with the voice over dude and fellow contestants about what they offer — it also gives me some great ideas.

I’ve always wanted a more unique wedding, I am not interested in traditional at all. Though I don’t think I’d go as far as to get married in a cave like one woman did, I loved the enchanted castle theme that was on last weeks

More more more, give me more!

…I love daytime trash TV!

Oh wait, that’s not much of a secret actually is it, I think if you’ve been reading this blog for a while you’d already know that

I love all the property shows though, the ones that cover both the UK and abroad are great and my absolute favourites are the ‘Home from Hell’ type shows where you see all the disastrous things that can happen to people’s property — bet they all wish they’d been in touch with maxim enterprises before every thing started going wrong for them but hey, hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it!

I’ve been running this blog for over 6 months now and I am quite happy with how it is going, I would like to see an increase in traffic and comments though so I think that I will look in to website directory submission and get my name out there even more than it already is, I know from running other sites that the more backlinks I can get the better for traffic and rankings

I am looking at insurance quotes after watching last weeks episode of Holiday Homes From Hell, it always instill fear in me as most of the stories are about regular people who find themselves in these crazy situations. There was one couple who had their house bulldozed by accident and no one would take responsibility for it so they got no money – Scary!!
