My nickname at my last job was ‘Miss Scatterbrain’ because I have a really bad memory for dates and things. The amount of times I have been invited to places and events and said sure I will go — only to completely miss it and ‘get in trouble’ the next time I see someone, it’s crazy, I have lost count.

I am generally an intelligent and able person, but I struggle so badly with dates!

People need to make more use of save the date cards, or even save the date magnets that I can stick on my fridge. Then I would really have no excuse!

I was watching the xfactor tonight and wondering why so many of the friends and family of the contestants had custom t-shirts with their loved ones name on, fair enough if they really think that they will get through but a lot of them were awful and it just struck me as a huge waste of money.

Then I looked it up and actually it’s not that expensive, you can get them done pretty cheap at 123print.com so I revised my opinion and decided it’s actually a pretty nice way to support someone and worth every penny. I know I would appreciate it if I were ever auditioning for such a show
