Like the good little reality tv fan that I am, I have loads of ex contestants of various shows as friends on Facebook so that I can keep up with what they are doing. It’s fun. But it really highlights to me how much I would hate to be a reality star myself, especially on a show like The Biggest Loser – recently an ex TBL Aus 1 contestant posted a picture of themselves and several of the comments were along the lines of ‘Well, someone didn’t keep that weight off’ and just today a picture was posted of two ex TBL Aus 3 contestants getting engaged, as in the literal moment he proposed – and my first thought was ‘What a shame they both got fat again’. What a horrible thought, but I couldn’t help it.
The show opens people up to so much criticism, I couldn’t handle it, I would be reaching for the weight loss pills asap!

I am so grateful for web hosting rating sites like WebHostingGeeks.com at times like this, searching for that new perfect web hosting package for my sites is a daunting task indeed.
I have been to several hosts and been impressed with what I have seen, then headed over to a web hosting review site to read user comments and been totally put off. It happened just today with BlueHost, their website seemed really appealing, the packages had everything I wanted and more…I was almost sold…then I read the BlueHost Reviews over there and very quickly changed my mind, it seems they currently have a lot of unhappy customers — and after being an unhappy customer myself on my current host that’s the last thing I want to risk being on my new one.
It’s a good job I have a few weeks still to find my new virtual home, I have an awful lot of searching, reading and researching to do in preparation — I am willing to pay a little more for good service, though obviously still only want to pay what I absolutely have to, I don’t have money to burn.
Hopefully I will get there in the end and find myself the perfect place

So this week both Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars kicked off – 3 hours for SCD and more than 3 hours for DWTS – that’s a lot of bloody dancing to watch to be honest.
I think it might have been overkill for me as I am already bored to tears of it. Also there’s an awful lot of filler in shows like this so it sure gets old quick.
Plus there aren’t any real disasters this year, I admit one of the main reasons I tune in is to watch the bad ones stumble and fall and although there are plenty that aren’t amazing this year there are no John Sergeants!
I’ll continue to watch, but may end up dumping at least one of the versions pretty soon — and wil Kelly Osbourne in Dancing with the Stars, it will most likely be that one!

I have a friend who works with iPhone Application Develoopers and I am so beyond jealous of her job, I have always been interested in Software development and as a personal iPhone owner have a special affinity for Mobile Application Development specifically – she also has a hot husband and a smokin’ bod which doesn’t help quell my jealously of her
It’s amazing how far the world of mobile apps has come, a few years ago you might be able to get an app that would convert currency for you – these days everyone wants in on the action and you get huge companies throwing money left and right at developing their own apps and I am pretty sure I could find a decent app for absolutely any purpose.
I just came across the Galatta Cinema app and downloaded it for my iPhone, the app is super sleek and simple to use and covers every thing related to Indian movies – articles, reviews, previews, news stories and so much more. So you can always find out about a movie on the fly – if it’s about to come on the TV and you aren’t sure, look it up! Stood outside the cinema but don’t know what to watch? Take a peek on your Galatta Cinema app!
Very useful indeed.

It’s official, I hate the new X Factor format.
I wanted to give it a fair chance before writing it off but now that the auditions stage is over I can safely say that I really do hate it.
Ii am not into the show at all yet this year whereas usually I would have some firm favourites, know which group I would personally want and have people I am looking forward to seeing again. This year, none, I don’t even remember any one.
There just seemed to be so much missing. The judges didn’t have any arguments. There were no crack ups from the judges who just couldn’t control their laughter. The heckling (“Let her sing another song!”) from the audience was annoying and not a single one of them had to be escorted away by security.
Plus Cheryl Cole – love her, love love love love love her. But the ‘St Cheryl’ act is wearing thin now, it seems like every episode she cried when someone else was, got up on stage to help someone out or give them a hug etc. Cheryl is nice enough, we don’t need these staged acts to show that and it actually makes me like her a little less.
It was shit basically and I hope that the bootcamp stage will be better and they will return to the old format for next year.
