As you probably know by now from reading this blog, the only thing that comes even close to my love of watching trashy television and then blogging about it, is shopping — not just shopping, but bargain shopping and taking up all the great promotions I find online!

Just today I had a pair of jeans and a lovely top delivered that cost me a grand total of £1 after using a voucher I found online, they were £5.50 each but I used a code to get free delivery and £10 off — you can’t beat that for a bargain hey?

I use many many sites to aid me with my bargain hunting, every thing from price comparison sites and voucher code sites to cashback sites and bargain information forums. It really is a lot of fun!

They also help you to find great promotional offers to help you save even more.

I am getting my beloved one of the nice Seiko Dive watches I saw a few days ago for his 30th birthday — it’s still a while away yet, it is not until July but I am planning early and have already been thinking about it for months because I want to be able to save up and get him something special.

30 is a big one

He’s very hard to please when it comes to watches so I will have to let him pick it out himself, but I know he likes the Seiko range. I personally like this one pictured to the left, but I am sure he wouldn’t — we never like the same ones!

There’s the advert that comes on telly during the day time, featuring Johnny Allen from Eastenders — and it’s the most annoying advert ever. It’s for some New York accident lawyers or something but what bothers me about it is that Johnny Allen (I don’t know his real name!) says:

“Injury, that’s when you get in an accident and it’s not your fault”

Errmm…no Johnny, that is not ‘Injury’ at all.

“Injury: any physical damage to the body caused by violence or accident or fracture etc.”

Who’s fault it was is neither here nor there. I don’t know why it bothers me so much, but it really does.

I love simple games, love them. I play more simple games on sites like Facebook or my iPhone than I do any thing else and I own several of the ‘big boy’ consoles!

I love to play against friends on Facebook so it’d be awesome if that were made easier on the iPhone. There should be more multiplayer iphone game platform services out there like one at z2live.com. Developers of these games need to get with the times and realise that adding leaderboards and chat and other interactive features to their games is only going to help their stuff be more used and popular.

Everyone loves thrashing a friend, right?

Peggle is my current obsession after a friend suggested I give it a go. It is so simple, you just fire a ball off and try hit as many orange pegs as you can. I have been playing it pretty much non stop for about a week now.

I would be lost without having games to play on my long train journeys, I travel a lot as I have family all over the country. I am always super concerned that my battery will run out so obsessivly charge it several times before I ever set off any where!

I just watched the first episode of Online Dragons Den — I don’t really understand why it exists or what is supposed to be ‘underground’ about it, but I love it because the more Dragons Den the better

I liked the video of the woman trying to get backing for her horse supplies, including the horse hey hammock — she was crazzzzzzy looking and the hammock was truly awful hehe.

I also registered on the Family Fridge site after the show

The Biggest Loser USA is back..and I am already concerned and wondering how many people will be reaching for the best diet pills at the end of the season.

I think in general the show is great and sends a good message. But it’s just unrealistic, it’s not healthy to lose weight as fast as they do and I am sure ‘normal’ people come away at the end having ‘only’ lost 20lbs compared to their 200lbs feeling miserable about themselves

I hate travel programs, I need to stop watching them because they make me jealous. Grr.

I was just searching around for cheap Myrtle Beach hotels thanks to having seen an episode of “A place in the sun” this afternoon. I want to go to a place in the sun, I want to swim in an infinitely pool, I want to lounge around with a cocktail in my hand.

Sigh.

I think that after all the crying Natalie will have been doing over the last few days, she’ll be needing to search for the best eye cream to sort out those bags.

Oh how mean of me.

Let me say that Natalie actually should have won, as much as she was awful and it would have pained me to see her take the prize — she deserved it over Jordan who played no game at all. She just enjoyed her summer and got to the final two by dumb luck. Natalie was nothing special in terms of gameplay but at least she did play.

I actually worry of the precident Jordan’s win sets — why would any one bother even trying next year when she has proved you don’t need to?

The best part of the evening? Natalie’s face when Jesse’s vote was revealed and it wasn’t for her…hahaha, you could tell she’d already counted that one as hers in her head.

Overall, a poor season, poor final three and dire winner.

But I still love me some Big Brother USA

I need to shift this blasted belly fat. I have lost a lot of weight over the last few years as you know and am down to those pesky last few pounds and they all seem to be hanging out on my belly!

Hopefully the new season of The Biggest Loser USA that starts this week will motivate and inspire me and help me along the way
