I want a motorhome!

I kinda really want a motorhome now, they were driving across America in one in a show I watched a few weeks ago now and it looked like fun. I can’t remember the name of the show but it was for charity and some celebritied were trying to travel the world without flying in a sort of relay race – it was a nice little adventure :)

City Slickers

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Brompton. All opinions are 100% mine.

Whenever I see big cities on the telly I think, thank heck I don’t live there – I know that some people love the hustle and bustle of city life but it’s just not for me.

Having said that I hardly live out in the sticks, I am in a quiet village in Yorkshire but live only a stones throw away from two of the UKs biggest cities!

I was watching a show last week that was sort of recapping the 2000s and there was a news piece on from when London first introduced the congestion charge and they were talking about how many people would now take to using bikes to get around and they showed someone using a fold up bike to show how convenient they were.

Sure enough since the early 2000s the number of cyclists in London has almost doubled and Brompton who were once Undiscovered Business Entrepreneurs who make these great fold up bikes have gone from strength to strength. They are a London based company that have been making the folding cycle since the 1970s and will hopefully continue to do so and keep growing in the process.

Take a look at this video below for more information :)

Thanks for the memories…

…dear Jedward, the bubble finally burst.

I had a feeling that this week was going to be their last. I really couldn’t see who they’d be able to beat in the judges vote and knew they wouldn’t go to deadlock again after having done it most weeks this series.

john-and-edwardBless ‘em, they knew it was over as soon as they were in the bottom two with Olly – it’s the first time I have seen them not smiling and the ‘save your life’ song they did was frankly terrible, how they ever got passed their first audition I don’t know (Yes I am a Jedward fan, but I am not deluded enough to think they can sing!).

They bounced back though – smiling and laughing and being gracious saying Olly deserved to stay.

Adios Jedward, I hope you get something out of having appeared on the show and you certainly made it a loss more interesting this year :)
