…a new season of The Biggest Loser USA, already? really?

Each season when we meet the new crop I say the same thing – these people are too big, each season has to outdo the last and it’s already at a ridiculous level – I dread to think how it’s going to be by season 19. The lightest person will weigh 500lbs.

I have to say I like the couples format as it means more contestants for us to meet. I was duped by the first challenge as well which is rare, when Ali announced the 2 people to complete the slowest would go home I thought; “nah, no way..they’ll be sent off to train with a ‘The Commando’ or something” – so when it actually looked like they were going home, doing their leaving interview to camera, getting in the limos – I was shocked. I believed they were going home, but then of course out popped Bob and Jillian to announce the twist

I was surprised at who went home also, I feel the producers probably didn’t expect the ‘Half ton twins’ to be the first out, they must have spent a long time trying to find them and given the edit they got in the first episode I thought they were in for the long haul.

I will continue to watch, I can’t help myself, but I think it’s safe to say my love affair with this show is over. It’s just gone too far now.

It’s so easy and simple to do an online backup but it’s amazing how many people don’t, then they go and get a virus or something and lose everything and throw their toys out of the pram – you ask them why they didn’t have a back up and they say they couldn’t be bothered. Well, serves them right in my opinion

I was just looking for cheap hotels new orleans, I have decided one of my plans for 2010 is to travel more. I used to travel a lot, I was hardly ever in one spot and for about 4 years I moved about so much I didn’t even have an address – but I had settled down somewhat in the last 2 or 3 years and it’s time to get back to my old ways. I may as well now while I am still young and don’t have any kids

I have been enjoying this show a lot, last nights punishment of Basshunter and Sov was pretty hilarious.

I didn’t really warm to Sov at first but now like her loads, my initial favourite was Basshunter and I still think he’s a nice guy but a bit too puerile for me. I can’t warm to Hiedi at all, she seems cold and all she does is lay around in bed all day. Sisqo is adorable and seems like a really nice guy. I couldn’t live with Stephen Baldwin but he makes for good TV. Vinnie seems chilled but a bit arrogant. I can’t make my mind up about Kataya, she seems nice enough but I find it hard to like people who cheat on partners/break up marriages willy nilly as she seems to. Lucy T is nice and I don’t usually like the ditsy glamour girl types – but it’s like she has no filter, if she’s thinking it she says or asks it and that’s refreshing.

I don’t like Alex just because of who he’s associated with and the fact he’s there means we have to think about and endure rumours she may be going in. But overall I think it’s a pretty like able bunch
