I can understand why people often want quick weight loss, if they want to look good for a certain event or fit into a certain dress etc – but I believe if you want to lose weight and keep it off slow and steady is the best strategy. Don’t go on a diet, change how you eat full stop and those changes will stay with you for life.

Despite my views on diet pills and the like, my mum has just started taking CLA after reading lots of rave diet pill reviews about and one of her friends suggesting it to her having found success with it herself. I don’t actually think my mum needs to lose any more weight, she has a BMI in the healthy category but if it’s going to make her more happy and confident then so be it 
I was watching an old episode of Beauty and the Geek last night, because it was ridiculous am and I couldn’t be bothered to turn it over — I think it was from the last season, with Jennilee and the ‘horrible’ beauty. Some of those guys must get some serious acne solution when they get on the show though, because it doesn’t take very long for it to clear up and they become actually rather hot!
Is that show axed now? I can’t remember.
I wonder how many people are running out to buy the best weight loss products after watching the biggest loser finale last week? Some of the weight losses were amazing – but I do have to admit I wasn’t as in to this season as previous ones but I am not sure why. It’s also interesting to note that according to BMI both Michael and Ashley are still classed as obese – even Stephanie and Sunshine who looked smoking are still ‘overweight’, crazy isn’t it?
I was doing some research on human growth hormones recently for a project we are doing at college and it’s a pretty interesting subject. It’s not something I have really ever even thought about before never mind really understood so it was an interesting project – a lot better than the sort of stuff we usually have to do any way.
I saw Hot Tub Time Machine recently and I actually really enjoyed it, I was surprised because I went in with low expectations to be honest. I loved all the 80s decor, the amount of log furniture on show was something to marvel at. I am not saying it’s the best film I have ever seen but it was certainly a lot better than a lot of the free screenings we’ve been on in recent months.

The whole storyline with Joe dieing in Coronation Street is stupid – I am glad he’s dead because he was always a useless fool, but it’s all just too much. Too many coincidences and silly mistakes by Gail – I mean like she didn’t know he’d taken out that life insurance policy behind her back and that the police just happened to find it.
