I have been quite unwell this week – curse you migraine. This means I have spent some time in bed or just lounging around with nothing to do but think about stuff and chat to my other half. As is usually the case when I am left to my own thoughts I started to daydream and come up with all kinds of plans for the future and one thing we know we would love to do is…retire to Florida…or at least live there at some point in our lives.

The next big travel adventure we want to take is a month long trip to Australia and that’s already planned for early 2012, so a trip to Florida will have to wait for at least another year or so.

I was just looking at Florida houses for sale online and although it’s a long time away yet it’s pretty interesting and enjoyable to look. My parents are also considering moving to Florida in a few years time which is a big pull for me – we moved away from my home town when we first moved in together many years ago and I always said that one day I’d like to live close by them again. Will it ever actually happen? Well who knows, I have a lot of things on my little list of things I’d like to do in my life and most of them involve visiting or living in some exotic place so if I want to get it all done I had better get moving

My mum was asking me if I knew any thing about a holter yesterday and when I said no she asked if I could look online for her, the thing is, I don’t mind looking for things for people when they can’t for some reason but she is perfectly capable of doing it herself – she knows how to use a computer and is as good on google as I am, she’s just being a lazy bum!
