Supress that appitite

I would like to know what the best appetite supression techniques are, I really need to reign myself in at the moment and stop eating like I have been doing. I was on a 1200 calorie a day diet for around 3 years but then switched to maintenance calories of 1500 when I was done losing weight, at first it was hard to go up by 300 calories a day but now I am struggling to stay within it.
