I have never really been someone that is interested in cars, they are something that get you from a to b – though being a typical girly girl I do like ‘cute’ cars, any thing that is pink or purple or has flowers on it is fine by me and I have always loved the look of minis and beetles and the like.
However when we moved in to our new house almost a year ago now (wow has it really been that long?) I think I fell in love with the neighbours Porsche as it just looks so sleek and gorgeous and my husband says that the special Porsche exhaust makes it sound smooth – so we are both envious of it, me because I love how it looks and him because he loves how it sounds.
The owner sure takes a lot of time and care over the car though – every weekend he’s out on his driveway doing something with it – usually polishing, cleaning, washing or otherwise sprucing it up. I once commented to my husband that I didn’t think I’d like it if he gave that much attention to his car but as he rightly pointed out every one has their habbies that they spend a lot of time on. I spend a lot of time watching and talking about various TV shows online and I spend a lot of time working out – similarily he likes to spend a lot of time playing computer games and playing snooker at the local club. So if someone wants to spend a lot of their free time caring for their gorgeous (and no doubt very expensive) car then so be it
Maybe one day we will be lucky enough to own a porsche but for now I am quite content just admiring my neighbours from the window

I am currently looking for a great place for photo booth rental in the UK, we have decided that we want a photo booth at our wedding so that people can get their picture taken and mess around and have a little bit of fun with it – the idea being that it provides some entertainment for the guests who get to keep the photos as a momentum of the day, but also we get to keep copies of the photos ourselves so that we can see and be reminded of all our friends and family having a lot of fun.
Apparently the capture pod phenomenon started at the Splashlight Studios in Miami which is interesting to know, but the first time I saw it was at a friend of a friends wedding a few weeks ago – I was not there myself but they brought the photos they had taken in the booth with them to work a few days later to show them off and she told me all about it. I fell in love with the idea there and then.
As you should know by now we don’t want too big a wedding, just a small event with close family and friends so it’s not like it’s going to cost us an arm and a leg, this means that when there is something we both really do want we are happy to pay for it and we know that our loved ones will get a real kick out of it.
I have been looking around online for a UK based company where I can get us one from and am so far drawing a big of a blank. I have asked my friend to ask her friend where they got theirs from but am still waiting to hear back from her about it

I wish I could find a really good discount cruise. My fiance won’t travel on planes so boats are really the only way we can get abroad and looking out the window right now I would love nothing more because there’s nothing but snow snow snow as far as the eyes can see and there’s no sign of it stopping. The temp is set to drop really low tonight as well, as low as -10 even! Brr. Takes me somewhere warm.

I am really excited for Christmas this year as it’s our first one together in our own home. I have got the Christmas tree and decorations down already and am really struggling to resist the urge to not put them up already. I have garland and things to hang cards on and so much other stuff that is just begging to be put around the house. I can’t wait

I don’t know what to do with my boyfriends sports trophies at the moment, he doesn’t want to get rid of them and I see no reason why he should – but I also don’t want them out on display in our new home. They are mainly snooker trophies he won as a child so it’s not like they are recent achievements and unfortunately most of them are pretty ugly looking.

I really need some wedding anniversary ideas, I never have a clue what gift to buy my husband as he’s so hard to buy for and we generally don’t do the usual soppy and romantic gifts you’d associate with anniversaries – we’ve just never been the flowers and chocolate types. I struggle to think of something interesting and unique each year – I am thinking about suggesting we stop giving gifts and just spend time together and give cards instead.

I have just been looking at iphone accessories for my hubby, he got his very first iphone a few weeks ago and I have been meaning to buy him a present to say thanks for finally getting his behind in gear and getting us somewhere to live – we’ve been non stop since we moved in a few weeks ago and he’s worn out bless him.

I need to get some cheap car insurance quotes, does any one know of a decent comparison site? Ours is due for renewal in a few weeks and I completely forgot about it – since moving in with my other half I have taken over our finances so even though he usually deals with that it’s my job now, I’d hate to fall at the first hurdle!

I was just reading some reviews for the New ford mondeo zetec because my darling fiance insists he has to have one – he owned a Ford Mondeo before his current VW Golf and he says he has always missed it and has had his eye on the Ford Mondeo Zetec for several months.
He has literally just paid off the loan he took out to pay for the last car, it’s taken over 3 years – and already he wants a new one? I suppose I can relate as I am a bit like that with mobile phones, but a top of the range car is a slightly different kettle of fish isn’t it.
We’ll have to do some serious thinking about it.
