I was just looking at digital cameras because I need a new one, mine has given up and packed in – which is very annoying as it’s only 2 years old, literally just out of warranty.
I don’t need a super good one as I am not a serious photographer – just so long as I can take snap shots and photos for my ebay sales 
You know how people dream of winning loads of money and then rolling around naked in it, either on a bed or in a bathtub? Yeah well I share that dream of getting so ridiculously rich I could roll around in my wealth – but I’d go for something less predictable than notes, like loose diamonds or caviar or designer handbags!
Having said that I’d be a little worried about where the diamonds might end up, ooerrr!
People take a lot of things for granted, myself included of course. I sometimes wonder how I’d cope without being able to watch all of my favourite reality shows if my eyesight were to deteriorate – I am sure I would have bigger and more important concerns as well, but it’s all those little things like not being able to watch the TV that concern me at the moment.

Even though when asked I would tell people I think horoscopes are ‘silly’, I always check mine each week in the copy of ‘Whats on TV’ I get delivered – so what does that make me?
I don’t know, I enjoy reading them and going ‘ooooh’ even though deep down I don’t buy them.
That’s not to say I think all astrology stuff is silly, just the mass produced cookie cutter stuff you get in the big publications.
I was on a horoscope 2010 a while ago where they do actual readings and I would be much more inclined to go along with those
Someone mentioned holiday cards the other day and I was just about to whack them on the head and tell them it was ‘forever’ away yet – then I realised it’s October already so actually, it’s only a few months away. Crazy. Where ever has this year gone to, it feels like mere moments since last Christmas and new year.
So I suppose I should now start thinking about plans, it’ll be our first Christmas in our new home so would be great to make it a special one. I am going to search to find the perfect card to send this year, we like to go for unique cards and usually end up getting them from 123print.co.uk
I love living in the UK and I love spending time outdoors, but unfortunately these two things don’t really mix.

If the sun comes out for even two seconds every one puts their shorts on, gets out the deck chairs and fires up the BBQ – GREAT! Well, yes it is great for a few days, but then the sun goes away again and it’s time to dig out the umbrella put the outdoor furniture covers on and put the BBQ back in the shed for another year.
British summers don’t last very long!
My nickname at my last job was ‘Miss Scatterbrain’ because I have a really bad memory for dates and things. The amount of times I have been invited to places and events and said sure I will go — only to completely miss it and ‘get in trouble’ the next time I see someone, it’s crazy, I have lost count.
I am generally an intelligent and able person, but I struggle so badly with dates!
People need to make more use of save the date cards, or even save the date magnets that I can stick on my fridge. Then I would really have no excuse!
I loved wearing glasses when I was younger, whenever it was time to head to the opticians to get new glasses frames I was like a kid in a candy shop. I had some pretty crazy frames over the years as well, especially as a teenager when I was a bit of a goth
I wish that I still had to wear them but unforunately was told I no longer needed them several years ago now. I often think I might just buy some frames any way, with plain glass in them, just so I can wear them for fun! I would love some like these ones availabe at GlassesShop.com!
I am about to go looking or some golf training aids because when we go on holiday next month we are going golfing, we have a free pass for this golf place that we are going to use but I don’t want to make a complete fool of myself by having my public outing being my first actual go at golf since I was a teenager.
So practice, practice, practice it is!
