I used to get terrible acne as a teenager, but I also used to pick at my spots which I knew was bad bad bad, but just couldn’t help myself – I have always been a picker and still am even though I know it can do lasting damage. I have even considered acne scar removal treatment in the past but they aren’t really that bad that I would ever really go through with it.

Have you ever noticed that there are always batteries laying around, except for when you actually need them.
I swear I am always tripping over them and thinking that I should put them all somewhere to keep them together so I will know where they are when I need one, but it never happens…and then the time comes that I need one and I can’t find them any where.
It drives me crazy!

Have you ever had adult acne? I get the odd spot like most people, but I can’t imagine having full on adult acne – looking like a poor teenager suffering through that awkward time. I think I’d be really annoyed at it if I did have it because I’d feel like I’d done my part with the acne already and it was time for it to get lost!

It’s amazing how many Brits seem to go to America and come back having obviously stopped off at a Plano cosmetic dentist for some veneers. Not that I think that is necessarily a bad thing, it just seems like one of the ‘rules’ for Brits who want to make it in the States is that they have to get ‘perfect’ American teeth first.

I am not a religious person, I never have been and I imagine I never will be – I don’t believe in living my life in preparation for what could potentially be the next. I don’t believe in reincarnation, or heaven and hell – so I will live this life as I wish, thank you very much.
Having said that I do believe in karma and I don’t know why, it’s as ‘silly’ a theory as most religion is to me – yet because I like the idea of it I choose to believe.
Any way, check out this Fictional movie site for believers in karma and reincarnation.

I think I might need to start applying the odd anti aging product at night, I am getting old!
Honestly, I never thought I would be the sort of woman to freak out at turning 30, and really I am not that bothered – but at the same time I would really rather not be!
It also makes me feel old that our neighbours party every Friday and Saturday night until gone 5am, and rather than head round there to join in I moan and whinge about how annoying they are!

Being a former smoker myself I have mixed views on smoking in public places as I can see it from both sides – non smokers don’t want to smell of cigarettes and get harmful toxins in them from passive smoking, and smokers wants to be able to have the freedom to do what they chose with their own bodies whenever they like.
In the USA although most states have public smoking bans, most casinos still allow it – but that is now posing problems, I was reading an article earlier about the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas which is actually being sued by it’s own employees for exposing them to second hand smoke. As a result a lot of other casinos are now changing and banning smoking.
I suppose one of the advantages of playing casino games in the comfort of your own home via the Internet is that you can do whatever you like – whether than be smoking a cigarette or wearing only your underwear. But it’s not quite the same is it? In the same way sitting drinking alcohol on your own isn’t the same as actually going to a bar. Interacting with people and soaking up the atmosphere is all part of the experience.
Overall I have a ‘live and let live’ attitude and don’t like the idea of banning anyone from doing anything – but when health is involved I can’t help but side with those who want the right not to have what is a filthy habit forced upon them if they like it or not!

Have you ever noticed how every reality show seems to have a woman with huge false boobs, and I don’t mean someone who’s had a little booster – I am talking huge ‘comedy’ boobs like Sophie from Big Brother UK. A few years ago people didn’t like the ‘glamour girl’ look and would groan and moan when yet another one walked into the house – they’d usually be one of the first people out of there also.
These days it seems much more acceptable, with glamour girls proving really popular and even winning the shows. Has plastic surgery just become more acceptable and normal these days, or is it just that we’ve got used to them because they feature so much in all our favourite reality shows?
Lots of women seems to come out of reality shows and go looking for affordable breast augmentation these days as well, I can think of several former Big Brother girls who have since had the surgery – I suppose they do it in order to further their careers and get more money from nuts shoots. I think it’s a sad state of affairs – more power to women who want boob jobs for themselves, I have no qualms about that, but in order to please lads mags? That’s lame, just like pop displays.

…Kerry Katona, when she was on I’m A Celebrity I thought she was great, really nice down to earth girl, but it seems we created a monster that series with both her and Jordan coming from it.
I just don’t understand why magazines continue to pay people like her for their stories, “My break up hell”, “My dramatic weight gain”, “I broke my nail!!” etc.
More so, why on earth do people read them? Kerry is in the trash mags again this week on some crazy new diet pill like phenocal or something, apparently it’s her last attempt to lose weight as she’s tried every thing else (and told us all in detail about every moment of it). Here’s a novel idea Kerry, stop going for the quick fixes and miracle cures which you have proven don’t work for you long term — and just eat less and move more for life.
Cripes.
