Whenever I go away on holiday, as I am doing in just over a weeks time, I look up the area online beforehand and see what sort of attractions and events are nearby — one of the many wonders of the Internet hey?
I want to go to New York City one day soon so that I can purchase broadway tickets, I would absolutely love to see a show in such a famous place.
I am just going to my other halves parents place in a weeks time though and I have been so many times I already know what’s there, and unfortunately it is nothing exciting!

I feel as though I have done nothing but shoe shop the last few weeks, and that’s because I have been on several shoe shopping trips trying to find some to go with the outfit I have bought for a wedding I am attending next month.
It makes me green with envy when I see the girls on shows America’s Next Top Model, Make Me A Supermodel and Stylista rocking their killer designer heals — A because I can’t afford any of the delicious marc by marc jacobs shoes at the moment and B because even if I could I wouldn’t be able to walk in them. I have never been able to cope with more than a 2 inch heal, and it has to be rather thick and clunky at that — so the divine 8 inch skinny heals that are all the rage are just a no go for me.
Buying shoes is a hassle, I have pretty much exhausted the high street shoe stores now and am about to go searching for some online, maybe at JidorShoes.com, a website I have used in the past — I am looking for some in either a nice teal or purple colour, small heal or wedge, quite pointy, strappy and that only cost an arm rather than an arm and a leg
Hopefully I can get some, I am running out of time.

I am getting my mum some perfume for Mother’s day next weekend, I always do.
My sister in law says that it is ‘boring’ to get her the same thing each year but that’s what she wants so why not? What’s the point in getting her something else just for the sake of it being something different?
So I am always on the look out for discount perfumes at this time of year and they seem to have lots of really great ones at My Fragrance Room, they even have one or two I have my eye on for myself and I am never usually tempted by perfume!

My darling husband to be asked me to ‘Pimp his iPhone’ earlier, quite why he couldn’t do this himself I am not sure — but since he’s hot and I rather like him I said “sure, no problem, what you want?”
He told me to just pick for him. So I went on a quest to find Simpsons, Snooker and Babe related goodies!
A quick search brought me to iPhoneAtmo.com, they offer loads of great looking iphone wallpaper absolutely free.
This is great because we hate paying for things, who doesn’t right? But we are especially tight, and proud
They already had one Simpsons wallpaper on the site and since he had the same image on his desktop at one point I knew he’d like it. Unsurprisingly they have a Babes category jam packed with content — funny that they are always the busiest areas on wallpaper sites, isn’t it? hehe — but I couldn’t possibly be seen to encourage him to look at other ladies, so I went with Homer’s brain.
This site also offers some free and complete iphone themes, which I have found are a lot harder to come across.
Best thing about the site is that you can make requests, so if you don’t already see what you fancy give them a shout and they’ll make it and add it to the site for yourself and every one else to enjoy. Hurrah.
Hubbies iPhone, consider yourself pimped!

I am always on the look out for new arthritis remedies for my mum to try — she suffers terribly with it at times and I feel so bad for her because I suffer ever so slightly with it myself sometimes. I get it in my knees when the weather changes a few times a year and it’s hell so it must be truly awful for people who get it all over, severely and often.
Enzymes are said to be good for arthritis and I am sure my mum does already use them, I am not sure what sort specifically but I was reading up on them a while ago and they are not only good for arthritis but lots of other ailments as well including burns, diabetes and sinusitis. It sounds like a wonder drug which is pretty remarkable considering it’s natural, it’s no surprise that it is already used heavily across Europe, it’s only a surprise it’s taken America so long to catch on to it

I have to admit that when it comes to clothes, I am not much of a designer kinda gal. I like my clothes cheap and cheerful and am a regular at discount shops such as Matalan, Peacocks and good old Primark.
The most ‘designer’ item of clothing I own is probably the skinny jeans by falmer I bought a few weeks ago. How sad, what sort of woman and self proclaimed shopaholic am I?
That’s not to say I don’t know about my designers though, aside from loving shopping I do closely follow fashion and I love the current roca wear purse range from The ROC, and if I ever do start adding designer gear to my collection, one of those will be first on my list!

Ahh all this beautiful snow in the UK is making me crave the vacations we used to go on when I was a young teen — log cabins in snow filled mountains with skiing and snow boarding all around us.
Well, the snow and the fact I have been playing the Snow Boarding game on the Wii with my friends balance board that they let me borrow.
I am obviously rusty because I am absolutely terrible on that thing. I would like to think that if I actually managed to get back out on the actual slopes I would pick it straight back up again, but it’s been 10 years — who am I kidding?
I was looking at Breckenridge vacation rentals a while ago, there’s no way it’s on the to do list for this year as I think we’ll be lucky to get a few days in grotty Skegness — but it is definitely on my ‘to visit’ list for some time in the near future. It’s really set in an ideal location for skiing with beautiful surroundings and the cabins and lodges available look so luxurious they make me want to pop!
Next year, Next year — fingers crossed –

Living in the UK we don’t have much of a termite issue, I have never seen termite swarms in my life — but I know it’s something I will run into when I make that dream trip of mine to Australia one day and I can’t wait, I want to embrace every thing Australia, even their pesky little wildlife!
