…have I told you recently that I love you?
Pretty amazing to think how popular and awesome this show still is after 20 seasons and over 10 years on air. Long live the next 20 seasons.
I’m a big Russell fan so glad to see him doing well this season. I actually thought he was going to get eliminated very early on because of how he was at the Samoa finale – all teary eyed and desperate to buy the title off Natalie – the only downside being I don’t like Parvati so each episode I find myself torn between rooting for him to do well and wanting her gone.
You know what’s annoying though? How hot those women look, I look like death if I go a few days without washing my hair, plucking my eyebrows and getting rid of blackheads – yet they all look like divine Goddesses after 30 days of basically living in crap. I just hold on to the hope that if we actually saw them in person they’d look (and smell) like death.
I’ve not seen this weeks episode yet, but will be watching it while I eat my favourite tea (Salmon and Pasta) of the week a little later on today

Did you see the season premiere of The Apprentice the other night? I only just got around to watching it. The challenge was a bit lame really, they had to decorate an office space and some of their ideas about what constitutes modern office furniture were quite surprising – there were certainly no interior designers among them. Still, I love the show and I am sure the challenges will improve

I would be totally lost without sites like rapidshare you know, because despite being from the UK the mass majority of shows I watch are from the USA and Australia and I need to be able to download or stream them online. I use a Rapidshare Search site called Filez.st on a daily basis to get my fix of favourite Tv shows and they are going to download so much fast now, we just moved to a new area so I am going from 2.5mbs broadband to 21mbs broadband. A world without the Internet would suck for such a hardcore TV fan

Good news Biggest Loser UK fans, not only will the show be returning on ITV in 2011 it will also be given a primetime slot. It will take on the American format of only airing once per week this time however. The show will run for 8 weeks and will again take on the couples format.
The Biggest Loser originally aired on Living for two series in 2005 and 2006, before moving to ITV daytime in 2009. Last year’s run was won by Kevin Sage, who lost 9 stone 6lbs.
Joint managing director Karen Smith from production company Shine TV said:
“Despite its cheeky title, The Biggest Loser is a hugely positive series which genuinely transforms people’s lives for the better.
“Last year’s winner Kevin has maintained his weight loss and has just completed the London Marathon while Jodie Prenger, who won a previous series, went on to appear as Nancy on the hit BBC Show I’d Do Anything when her weight loss gave her a new-found confidence.”
ITV’s director of factual, daytime and GMTV Alison Sharman said:
“This is a one of the great formats of recent years. It is a wonderfully entertaining watch, with powerful and inspirational stories at its heart. I am delighted that an ITV primetime audience will now be able to enjoy it.”

I have just watched some slide shows of all the male and female housemates from Big Brother UK, it’s amazing how many there are and how many I had pretty much completely forgotten about! It’s made me sad that it’s all almost over now, there’s just over 2 weeks left of the regular series and then the 2 week long ‘all stars’ and then that will be that. No more Big Brother UK

I love it when they reveal the results of the various psychometric tests they have them take on Big Brother before they enter the house and they just released this years a while ago.
They always throw up some surprising results, though you probably have to take into account that many of them probably don’t put much effort into them – Mario for example, his scores were utterly dismal, even a 10 year old would do better than he did but we know from watching the show that Mario is by no means on a level intelligence wise with a 10 year old.
The most surprising results this series were John James, he comes across pretty average on the show – to put it nicely, but he actually scored the highest, even higher than Andrew who just got a near first from Oxford university.
Crazy hey?
Randomly though Sunshine reckons they didn’t even take any this year, she said it on twitter. How can that be right?

I love the stupidness of Neighbours, it’s a large part of the reason I watch it.
Last week Summer was able to get someones exact home address (which just happened to be Ramsey Street) from their IP address that she somehow managed to get from a message they’d sent her on a dating website.
This week so far three people on the street have sued, counter sued and counter counter (?) sued each other – and of course good old Toadie was their lawyer, that boy must earn a fortune, he’s never out of work!
Someone mentioned the accutane lawsuit in a thread on a Neighbours board I post on (yes, I post on Neighbours message boards, Dr Karl Kennedy is a member on one of them I will have you know!) and I did a little reading about it on Accutanelawsuit.net who have loads of information on the case and offer help and advice to those affected who may be entitled to compensation. Accutane is an acne medication that has been known to cause some pretty serious side effects as it’s being given to people who really don’t need it, it’s intended for really bad cases only – and there’s another reason to be glad I am passed those spotty teenage years and no longer get acne.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of SeeSaw. All opinions are 100% mine.
I am going to hit up the Comedy Section on SeeSaw at the weekend – it’s been a while since I really got into any comedy shows.
I like the panel type shows like QI, Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You but there hasn’t been a good sitcom for what seems like ages.
Though I believe The Inbetweeners returns soon and I cannot wait for that, I rewatched the first two series a few weeks ago and I never, ever, ever rewatch shows!
In order to watch TV shows from around the world like I do I know of and use many sites online – I watch more shows on my computer than I do on my TV by far, especially now that I can’t get BBC channels any more (I don’t know why, I’ve had a man in the loft trying to fix it and every thing
) and rely heavily on iPlayer.
SeeSaw is great because you can watch 100s of programs for free and can rent premium shows from the UK and US. Plus it’s all legal and high quality. I also enjoy the facebook and twitter integration so I can quickly and easily share what I am watching with my friends.

See that post about 3 down, listing John James as my favourite?
Well I take it back.
What is with him and his obsession with Rachael? The fact is that she does sneer at people and given them the “I’m better than you look” that JJ describes, but his obsession over it and the way he attacks her about the smallest of things (Oh no, BB girl who wants to get her baps out after the show…who woulda thunk it?) is completely over the top.
He’s a bit of a nutter it seems.
As for tonight, it’s the first eviction of the summer and we have three girls on the block – meaning that in all 11 series a female has been the first to be evicted. I was really hoping to break that little trend in the final series but hey ho.
Rachael vs Shabby vs Sunshine
I really don’t know who I want out, I don’t really like any of them but each add something to the show. Unlike people like Nathan and Ife and Steve who so far have done very little.
