Are these people crazy?

I can’t get my head around the villains decision at all, maybe my view is clouded by the fact I detest Parvati/her game style and the fact I desperately don’t want this to be Micronesia v 2.0 but – really? really?

Vote her out for Christs sake, they are all aware of how she plays the game, they are all aware she already has a few people under her thumb and can be very persuasive and they are aware she’s going to hook back up with James/Amanda/Cirie who they are also aware are currently running the game over on the other tribe – complete 100% no brainer, surely?

Voting out Randy who has no friends on either tribe and isn’t known for being a great player because he’s weak? Well maybe he is but so are some of the others physically – Danielle, Courtney etc but it’s not like they have been losing – they’ve won 3 out of 4 (is it?) challenges.

Just makes no sense to me at all and I am even tempted to call producer shenanigans!

The Amazing Race is back!

I just got done watching The Amazing Race premiere. I am not that well travelled and geography isn’t my strongest subject but I had to roll my eyes when Jordan asked for tickets to China because that’s where she thought Santiago was, doh.

Love love love this show even after 16 seasons, but I find myself running into the same age old problem season after season – it makes me green with envy and crave an exotic holiday adventure of my own!

Of course I’d never be able to go on The Amazing Race and would be much more suited to an all inclusive Tunisia or Greece trip instead. I like the idea of adventure but not the realities of it. I would definitely not be happy if I couldn’t lounge around by a pool, visit the shops and have all my meals cooked for me.

I’m not high maintenance, I just like nice things ;)

Biggest Loser Masterclass

I am not sure how much I like the new Masterclass episode on The Biggest Loser Australia, I really like the idea behind it because the show doesn’t usually offer such information – but honestly I prefer the drama, I’d rather see the walk than 20 minutes of Shannan and Michelle showing us how to strengthen our core.

I suppose it doesn’t help that most of the information so far is pretty basic – do this stretch, take this vitamin, don’t eat too much oil etc.

Still love the show though :)

It’s the heroes vs the villains

Thrilled at the first boot, Sugar was one of my least favourite players ever and I definitely felt she didn’t deserve to be there – I’d actually forgotten why I disliked her so much (curse this memory of mine) but it didn’t take too long for her to remind me – horrible simpering mess of a woman with no game at all.

Looks like I definitely prefer the villains to the heroes, there are people on both tribes I like and dislike but I actually like most of the people others seem to hate (Coach, Randy…also love Rob and Russell but I know I am not alone there!) and find most of the heroes dull as ditch water – I definitely found myself rooting for the villains!

I hope Rob is OK, looked pretty scary (but also kinda strange how calm Jerry seemed, I am almost expecting it to have been a bluff/misleading preview!). Will be gutted if my fave player has to leave so early!

Overall great episode, I hope it’s gonna be a great season!

Biggest Loser Australia is better…

…now that we are back to normal and the team that should not be named are gone. We’re back to normal editing and normal pace and it’s more like the show I know and love.

It’s still less than perfect though as we still missed out on two weeks worth of the show. They have been there for a month now, a month and we’ve only seen 5 episodes.

I usually love and adore certain contestants by now, I usually loathe some also – at this stage I still don’t even know most of their names, I don’t know who’s on which training team even.

We can never get those two weeks back :(

Dear Spencer, I still love yooooou!

I was random channel surfing last night and came across Spencer Smith from Bib Brother 3 on some fishing program talking about pond kits, how random can you get?

I do remember him having an interest in fishing during the show actually, but it seemed like he disappeared once the show was over so was surprised to see him on TV at all.

My word I was so in love with that guy, my first ever proper reality TV person crush :)

What was THAT?

So my favourite TV show is back, but they absolutely killed it – and I don’t mean that in a good way, I mean they killed it.

Long story short a week or so before it was set to begin airing they found out one of the contestants had been arrested on child porn related charges and announced they were going to be doing a drastic reedit of the show to make it appear as though they were never there.

I was intrigued as to how they were going to do it, were they going to blur them out? Or try use close up shots so they weren’t in them?

Nope, as I found out when I tuned it they decided to simply skip the first two weeks of the show – are they freaking serious?

We are now back to normal but I don’t even know the names yet, I don’t know what training teams they are on – we’ve seen them do about 2 workouts and most of them have already lost 20 pounds.

It sucks, I feel as though I have been robbed.

Go home Green and Red!

I find the red and green teams equally as unlikable, green have a real attitude problem – that’s clear to see. I was amused at them throwing their toys out of the pram and basically blaming the red team for them falling under the line – would it have killed them to take the 2 seconds required to do the maths to realise they were under the line regardless of the 2lb penalty. Could have saved themselves from looking even more daft than they already did.

You know a lot, you don’t know everything Boblian!

Bob and Jillian annoy me more and more each episode. I think it’s safe to say my days of hero worshipping them are long gone.

They get far too involved in the drama and just seem to be being fake and acting the whole time.

Now don’t get me wrong that woman on the red team is annoying, every time she does a piece to camera I want to turn over, she seems like the sort of woman that you’d see coming towards you and groan and instantly start thinking about your escape strategy – she’s just so brash. But the whole “How dare you doubt us, we know everything” nonsense from Bob and Jill after she weighed in was ridiculous – no Boblian, you might know a lot but you don’t know everything. How many times have we had shots of them, hands on head, mouths wide open saying “I don’t know how that happened” after someone has weighed in? Either when they had done an amazing result or when they had done a poor one – there has been many times Bob and Jillian didn’t understand a result so they need to stfu!
