I am actually glad that I didn’t come across the amazing deal at RapidSwitch.com then, because I would have snapped it up and as it turns out I didn’t need a virtual private server, my previous web host was just rubbish and couldn’t handle my site because they oversell so much. Grr.

You are joking I hope! The Rapidswitch VPS comes with no control panel options whatsoever – so unless you know how to administer a server then you will be well and truly stuffed.

Same as above. I was hoping to get an ounce of support from them as to how to setup a control panel etc, and they just wouldn’t do it… Shame, because in the current climate, they probably could have done with the business.

I signed up for this offer a couple of weeks ago and was initially a bit lost with SSH only access. I’ve got a bit of experience with Linux though, so after a bit of Googling and experimentation I’ve got my server up and running! Plenty of free control panels out there (Ravencore, ISPconfig, webmin LXadmin) – get stuck in!

I dont know a single company that provide a control panel to a vps. think you should actually look up what a VPS provider is all about.
use google problem solved on how to setup the control panel of your choice.
