Dear Spencer, I still love yooooou!

I was random channel surfing last night and came across Spencer Smith from Bib Brother 3 on some fishing program talking about pond kits, how random can you get?

I do remember him having an interest in fishing during the show actually, but it seemed like he disappeared once the show was over so was surprised to see him on TV at all.

My word I was so in love with that guy, my first ever proper reality TV person crush :)

Big Vinnie’s House

I am afraid as much as I was enjoying this series it’s now become pretty boring to me – as Sisqo said, it has become Big Vinnie’s House – very reminiscent of the control Carole had over BB8 (he worst series ever, btw).

They all do as he says. They all think how he tells them to. They all do his bidding.

Dane was becoming my favourite, but he’s so up Vinnie’s backside now it makes me sick.

You only have to look at the nominations to see his hand and influence in most of the votes.

With Sov gone (who was a tool, but at least she stirred them up and didn’t bow down to Vinnie) and Ivana (who I like a lot) and Stephen (total oddball, great TV) surely headed out the door on Friday I am wondering what there is in the final week left to watch.

Celebrity Big Brother 7 Launch

I really bloody enjoyed it!

It’s a long time since I watched a Big Brother launch show and felt excited, for the last several series it’s been very same old same old. But I enjoyed that they have redone the house for once and it looks great. I enjoyed the little touches like the fire on the house and the (poor) naked men with the torches. I also think it’s a good celebrity line up, people like Vinnie Jones and Basshunter are currently well known, there’s some infamous people in there like Hiedi, I know of Stephen Baldwin because he was in I’m a Celebrity USA last year. There are a few duds in there, people who are only famous for who they have slept with – but overall I am happy.

Bring it on :)

The most Amazing Racers are….

…that couple, erm…thingy, Shane or something.

meghanYeah OK so they were a pretty boring couple as far as reality contestants go, but they were nice enough and I think very much the most deserved winners. Going into the episode I wasn’t at all sure who I wanted to win but suspected that Brian and Ericka had been given the winners edit – so when it was mentioned again at the start of the episode that they had never won a leg and they got an early lead I thought that was that.

When Ericka reminded me why I disliked her earlier on during the bouncy bouncy grab the flowers challenge I decided I really didn’t want them to win and when Meghan and Cheyne ended up behind because no one seemed to know which hotel they needed to be at I thought how unfair it would be if they lost because of that and realised I really was rooting for them.

Overall a pretty good season but definitely not a classic or all time favourite.

I hear that Jeff and Jordan of BB romance/he handed her the win fame will be racing on the next season – I wonder how true that is, it seemed like for a while every season there were rumours Janelle and Dr Will were racing and it never happened.

The rise of the boobies!

Sophie-Reade-280_822912aHave you ever noticed how every reality show seems to have a woman with huge false boobs, and I don’t mean someone who’s had a little booster – I am talking huge ‘comedy’ boobs like Sophie from Big Brother UK. A few years ago people didn’t like the ‘glamour girl’ look and would groan and moan when yet another one walked into the house – they’d usually be one of the first people out of there also.

These days it seems much more acceptable, with glamour girls proving really popular and even winning the shows. Has plastic surgery just become more acceptable and normal these days, or is it just that we’ve got used to them because they feature so much in all our favourite reality shows?

Lots of women seems to come out of reality shows and go looking for affordable breast augmentation these days as well, I can think of several former Big Brother girls who have since had the surgery – I suppose they do it in order to further their careers and get more money from nuts shoots. I think it’s a sad state of affairs – more power to women who want boob jobs for themselves, I have no qualms about that, but in order to please lads mags? That’s lame, just like pop displays.

Diddums for Natalie!

I think that after all the crying Natalie will have been doing over the last few days, she’ll be needing to search for the best eye cream to sort out those bags.

Oh how mean of me.

natalie-big-brotherLet me say that Natalie actually should have won, as much as she was awful and it would have pained me to see her take the prize — she deserved it over Jordan who played no game at all. She just enjoyed her summer and got to the final two by dumb luck. Natalie was nothing special in terms of gameplay but at least she did play.

I actually worry of the precident Jordan’s win sets — why would any one bother even trying next year when she has proved you don’t need to?

The best part of the evening? Natalie’s face when Jesse’s vote was revealed and it wasn’t for her…hahaha, you could tell she’d already counted that one as hers in her head.

Overall, a poor season, poor final three and dire winner.

But I still love me some Big Brother USA :)

Any Lisa fans? No, thought not.

I wonder if Lisa will be hanging around in tattoo chat rooms when she gets out of the Big Brother house (this week hopefully!). She definitely loves her body art and has spoken before about how she likes her women with lots of tattoos — and judging by how many she herself has I think she really means that she likes a lot of them.

I don’t like Lisa at all to be honest – never have done and never will do, despite the fact she’s been quiet the last few weeks. I am not falling for the act and I remember what she was like in the early stages.

A new season begins

happiness_1I’m so happy that my favourite shows are starting to come back on, aside from Big Brother UK and USA it’s been pretty slim pickings the last few months.

I am most excited about Project Runway, I have missed it a lot and can’t wait to watch tonight’s two episodes.

I am also glad Top Chef if back but wish I had realised when the new season was starting, I just began watching season 1 a few days ago and I would have held off if I had known.

Now I just need Survivor and The Amazing Race back and all will be right with the world :)

I wonder if Jesse will be…

jessie…hanging out in a bodybuilder chat room right now? Teehee, oh you do have to feel a little sorry for him though, don’t you?

Twice now he’s been knocked out of the game due to an unfair twist involving the public.

Honestly I think the guy is a bit of a tool, he has an ego the size of a small elephant, but he’s not really that bad — it must suck to know you are hated by America, not once but twice.

Oh well, he will enjoy himself in the jury house, he was clearly struggling on the dreaded slop diet.
