…what have they done to it? The latest series is just 4 episodes in and I have already given up on it, and you guys know I don’t give up on shows once I start on them, I am a sticker.

But really, it’s baaad.

No series has ever topped the original that aired probably 10 years ago now, I am pretty sure it was actually one of the first ever reality shows as we know them now. the original shipwrecked spawn dear Jeff Brazier, a guy who was once famous for something other than being Jade Goody’s baby daddy — but since it’s revival a few years ago it has still been well worth a watch. This series it just holds no interest at all.

I couldn’t name a single contestant right now if my life depended on it. Though there’s probably a guy called Charles, they do like their posh kids on this show don’t they?

Shame, but I doubt it will be back for more series after this one.

Every week after watching shipwrecked it makes me want to hop straight online and start looking up travel deals so that I can go be somewhere sunny and tropical and gorgeous too, they make me so jealous.

If they didn’t have a cut of age of 25 I would so apply to go on that show myself. The idea of taking several weeks out of work to go on a free holiday to somewhere gorgeous with 20+ friends just makes me salivate.

Especially as when I look out of my window today I see nothing but snow, the same view I have had for over a week now. I love the snow, don’t get me wrong, but I love the sun also

Do you remember me posting last week, complaining that I didn’t realise Shipwrecked was starting up again and I had missed the first episode, but not to worry because I would catch the repeat the following Saturday?

Well guess who forgot to watch it, again?

The funny thing is that I set my PVR to record the second episode that airs on Sunday morning but didn’t set it for todays repeat of last weeks episode at the same time.

Way to not work very well, dearest brain of mine.

All is not lost though — I just realised I can watch it on the channel 4 catchup service online, so I am going to go do that right now, before I forget again.

Seeing all these people on TV today in sunny climates on The Biggest Loser Australia and Shipwrecked, with their gorgeous brown skin and perfect little bodies — well, not the Biggest Loser Contestants obviously — but all the trainers and staff and the hot little 20 somethings on Shipwrecked.

I think my skin is actually pretty good, I wouldn’t want any work doing on it myself but I sure would if I was ever going to be on Shipwrecked or got to move to Australia (as is my dream!).

A few posts ago I spoke about how much TV I had to watch today — but I missed a show out, I completely didn’t realise that Shipwrecked started on T4 this morning!

That’s another 2 hours worth of show I had to fit in!

Well except I didn’t because as mentioned I didn’t realise it was on so I missed it, boo.

It isn’t repeated until next Saturday so I am hoping to be able to snag it online some time before then
