See that post about 3 down, listing John James as my favourite?
Well I take it back.
What is with him and his obsession with Rachael? The fact is that she does sneer at people and given them the “I’m better than you look” that JJ describes, but his obsession over it and the way he attacks her about the smallest of things (Oh no, BB girl who wants to get her baps out after the show…who woulda thunk it?) is completely over the top.
He’s a bit of a nutter it seems.
As for tonight, it’s the first eviction of the summer and we have three girls on the block – meaning that in all 11 series a female has been the first to be evicted. I was really hoping to break that little trend in the final series but hey ho.
Rachael vs Shabby vs Sunshine
I really don’t know who I want out, I don’t really like any of them but each add something to the show. Unlike people like Nathan and Ife and Steve who so far have done very little.

On opening night I complained that there was no totty for the girls this year, as their rarely is. But John James is growing on me, he’s too young for me at 24 but that doesn’t mean he’s not worth a look
In addition he seems like an alright kinda guy and I love that he reminds me of my beloved Big Brother Australia that I still miss.
It’s the little things like the fact he calls Big Brother ‘Him/He’ rather than ‘Them/They’ because in Big Brother Australia they do all see the big guy as a man, rather than just a random member of the production staff.
He’s definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer but unlike previous thicko BB pretty boys he seems to have a good heart, show a genuine interest in others and isn’t at all shallow.
So far, he’s my favourite

It’s always got on my nerves that people in the show say it in way that it seems like they are the first – before Ali won it was always:
“I want to be the first ever female biggest loser!”
After she won it was always:
“It’s great that a woman has finally won it!”
The Australian and US shows are both as guilty of it but although it annoyed me it was pretty easy to brush off safe in the knowledge they probably meant “…in the USA/Australian version” but just didn’t feel it necessary to add that part every time.
So colour me shocked and super annoyed when during the Biggest Loser Where Are They Now special that I only just got around to watching, Ali Vincent says:
“I am the first female biggest loser in the world. Period”
*Splutter Cough Die*
What? does she actually think that? Like really? Why has no one told her that she was beaten to it by the UKs Jodie Pregner way back in 2006? Why would she just assume it to be true – surely if you are going to go around saying something like that you’d at least check it’s accurate first.
The mind boggles and I hope someone has at least now set her straight.

Like everyone else I had heard the rumours of the monster that is Jordan heading back into the celebrity jungle and I groaned – the only saving grace being that she was going to be a late entrant so I could at least watch the show for a week or so first, and then make a decision based on how much I was enjoying it, as to if I was going to continue or not.
So to say I was disapointed at the end of tonights show when they announced she’d be arriving tomorrow would be an understatement.
Now I can’t watch it at all and she’ll be in the show for at least 2 weeks (unless she gets bit by a poisionous snake, please please please please please) as that’s when people start getting voted out.
In the history of reality television, 100s of shows and 1000s of contestants there have only been three people I have had actual genuine feelings of hate towards and she’s one of them – the thing is aside from being the attention seeking twit that she is, she is also an emplyee of ITV who has been paid £350k to appear – anyone who doesn’t realise she’s going to get the worlds most positive edit and always be shown in a good light is a mug.
I’d bet my house right now that by the end of the show, she’ll have grown leaps and bounds in popularity and every one will have decided ‘Aww, she’s not that bad afterall!’
I won’t be part of it.

Having said that about American shows and their product placements, that isn’t to say it doesn’t happen in UK shows – they just have to be much more subtle about it. Take the last series of The Biggest Loser UK where the Kettlebell was used and praised most episodes – pieces to camera from the trainers and contestants talking about how wonderful a piece of equipment it was. I wonder how many people rushed out to buy one after the show, I know it’s on my Christmas list this year.

Noirin has left the Big Brother house, and the funny thing is if her ‘ex’ had not entered the house on Wednesday night she’d probably still be there.
I just hope that someone some day can express to her in a way she understands why it is the public objected to her behaviour. She kept likening what she did with Siavash to kissing a guy in a club, but it was nothing like that.
They are in a confined environment and had long lasting friendships and feelings, she knew Siavash had strong feelings for her but she didn’t care — she led him on because she was bored, seeking attention and affection and looking for fun and to tell with his feelings.
In Noirin’s world it’s all about Noirin.
People argue that she was always honest with him that she only wanted to be friends, but how many of your friends do you dive under the duvet with for a snogging session and spend the night spooning? If there were indeed just friends and that’s how she is with her friends then why did she not continue to flirt and spoon and kiss with him after Isaac entered?
Not that Siavash is innocent and I don’t actually have much sympathy for him – he was previously my favourite housemate but he’s now middle of the pack, he cheated on his girlfriend on national TV and even though he did it thinking there was going to be something more than just a kiss with Noirin he still did it — I bet she took great pleasure in seeing him getting dumped firstly for Tom (who had he not walked I am sure Noirin would have been kissing and cuddling when Isaac entered instead of Siavash) and then again when Isaac came in.
Roll on the next week and the next bunch of dramas!

I loved the live nominations format on Big Brother a few night ago, though I hated the outcome of Freddie and Angel being up.
It was really exciting, that’s the first time in years I have not known who was going to be up before watching and I loved the bish, bash, bosh factor of it!
I have long since been saying they should do that, I love the Australian version of the show and that’s how they do nominations.
I really really hope that they will do it like this all the time. It was a real big hit with fans

The UK Biggest Loser finale just aired, but I have not watched it yet so I don’t know who won — though I think it is pretty obviously going to be Kevin, his percentage fair outweighs every one else going into the final stages so I don’t see how they could possibly catch up.
My only hope is that Mark wipes the floor with the lot of them. I really liked Kevin to begin with but the way in which he turned on Mark for being too competitive really turned me off of him, especially as Kevin then went on to prove that he was just as if not more competitive than him.
Mark’s only crime was being honest about being in it to win it.
On the other hand of the 4 in the final I do think Kevin deserves it the most as he has put in 100% effort since the very start.
It’s not been the best series to be honest. A lot of lazy and unlikable contestants and Kate Garroway was hella annoying, but I hope the viewing figures were good enough that it will return with a higher budget for another series

I have seen every episode several times over and obsessed over it, but I am talking about the original UK version — I have never even given the American version a chance and I don’t plan to start now.
I love offices in general, that makes me sound lame but I get excited by paper and printers and a good office chair can make me squeal with excitement.
So a show set in an office that is quirky and funny is great by me and is always going to be a hit.
The reason I object to the USA version is because they were on about season 23 within a few years of it starting over there, whereas we only had a few series full stop. How can it possibly be of the same quality when they bash it out so fast?
Maybe I would watch it and love it, why not, America loves it? But I don’t want to give it a chance, I am sticking to my guns about it.
I need to buy some new dresses for work. Think I will hit up one of my favourite online stores and see what they have, I haven’t been on a spending spree for a few months now and I am long over due some new stuff
