The Biggest Loser: Shut up Tara

…Bob’s team, wrong choice.
Oh man watching the episode I was hoping to see a bit of beautiful karma in action, I was already planning the blog post in my head as the episode went a long.
But alas, Bob’s team were weak and did ‘The right thing’ by voting out Blaine, despite him not being the biggest threat, despite Bob telling them not to, despite the fact the black team went against their direct wishes and voted out his biggest threat just a few weeks earlier.
I hope it comes back to bite them in the ass, I am now rooting for Dane to win the lot.
In other Biggest Loser news — Shut up Tara, please just shut up. She’s annoying me more and more each week, she has the ‘Heba factor’ about her in that she thinks she’s the shit, she thinks she’s better than the rest of the people there and believes that the world does, or at least should, revolve around her.
I can’t wait until she gets knocked down a peg or two.

You sound like one of those people who never win at anything. Tara is not cocky or a bitch like Heba was. Tara is just a winner! Tara is awesome and only a lifelong loser would hate on her. She’s kicking ass on that show by sheer will and determination. She’s a girl beating down all the guys and that makes you mad.
Heba was self-indulgent and a simple minded twit. Tara is amazing! But it’s understandable that people who are never successful at anything would hate people who are winners.

I never used the word hate, actually.
She’s a character on a TV show I watch and I find her annoying, that’s all.
Let’s not overreact and make out that makes me the worlds most hateful loser. If you are this sensitive to my little post about her I would suggest you steer clear of Biggest Loser forums where they say muuuuuch worse.
I wish her all the best…I just wish she’d get voted off so I don’t have to watch her lol

I think its funny though that Tara portrays herself as some ultra tough, unstoppable machine who just doesn’t know how to give up or how to lose. I’m just curious…do you all think she is naturally this way in general (and therefore has always been this way) or is this some newfound power trip she’s on? I ask b/c I’m wondering if she has always been so headstrong, how come she let herself get to the point she was at before?
I personally recognize any hard work the contestants put forth no matter how I personally feel about them as a character (Whether on TV or off), however she does make my skin crawl as well…it’s not because she’s a winner, but I think its more about the fact that she has yet to humble herself for America to let us all know that its okay to not come in first all the time, or its okay to not have the answer to something. She seems to have this attitude about her where it almost seems as if ‘she knew all along’ this was how she was supposed to eat/workout, yet again…she got to the way she did…just give up the act, Tara…you’re human like the rest of us!

I don’t like Tara either. I think that she thinks that she is all that, and she constantly belittes others, and isn’t very appreciative.

Wow you all are so wrong about Tara. I agree with the first poster, if you can’t handle someone that wins by sheer will and determination it most likely means you also have no will and determination. Tara has always been supportive of the other team members and what do they do in return? Laugh at her.
Knocked down a peg or two? Oh please. You know who needs to be knocked down a notch and who just did tonight via Tara, Simone that a-hole Mormon guy. Ugh what a jerk. BOO HOO I have to use Jillian now and not Bob so I am going to trow a tantrum and cry. *rolls eyes*

Oh my god…Tara is sooo annoying! Normally I’m all about women empowerment and what not..but she wins EVERY EFFING THING. It’s getting beyond old. She’s definitely getting a big head. My fiance and I joke with each other and say that she’s definitely a man.
And honestly, if she has so much “sheer will and determination” while the heck didn’t she manage to lose weight at home?

so glad that Helen beat Tara, even tho I think Helen looks somewhat strange…hopefully she’ll gain a little back. But to me, Tara was driven by her unbelievable need to be superior to the other players, this worked for her, but she definitely should of shown more humility. It was not becoming at all. Its great she changed her life and will live longer and be a more positive person, but when she lost you could see her disbelief. Now its on her to want to beat the demons that put her up to that unhealthy state to begin with and not the people around her on the show that supposedly “wanted to see her fail”….that was the most ridiculous thing I ever saw on the show and I am a big fan. She was a drama queen and in the end was completely immature. But good luck to her keeping it off and congrats to all the rest of the players for their transformations!
